Japanese Pronouns And Anime Characters Theory

WARNING:
The following theory should not be taken seriously as it is not a valid theory. It is just a made up theory full of randomness.
Har de har har.

Last night shortly after Wayne started our Sannin Kai meeting, the three of us, Wayne, Ken and I discussed about the different Japanese pronouns, 'I', anime characters use and their characteristics. It all started with the new 'Tomodachi' Messenger Live Plus! sound Wayne made.

Tomodachi: "Boku dayo. Boku ga... Tomodachi dayo."

For some reason, Ken doesn't like the sound and he asked "Why 'boku'?". From here onwards, Wayne came up with a reason impromptu by saying all villains use 'boku' (僕). He provided a valid example and that is that Yagami Light uses 'boku'.

Light: "Boku wa Kira desu!"

Then Wayne proceeded with saying that 'watashi' (私) is for the good guys with the example, L uses 'watashi'.

L: "Watashi wa L desu~"

Ken says he uses 'ore' (俺) in which Wayne proceeds and says that 'ore' is for losers. The first example was Suzaku. Ken defends himself by saying that Tsuna uses 'ore' in which Wayne says Tsuna is a loser but he is not a total loser because when he goes into dying will mode his awesomeness deletes the title of 'loser'. I follow up with that Kamina uses 'ore' but because Kamina is so GAR, he is not a loser.

I also mentioned Syaoran uses 'ore' but I'm not sure if that's right. I think I remember him using 'watashi' in which I conclude that this theory only applies to a small field of characters.

An Entry For A Merdeka Night

Tonight my family and I went to Bukit Raja AEON Jusco. Compared to the one in Bukit Tinggi, this one sucks. It's got only two floors and there's nothing much to see.

I had dinner at Nando's. I found out that the Extra Peri-Peri is normal spicy to me. I was so excited when I ordered my chicken, I was thinking that after my meal I would be sweating and tearing and nose dripping but what happen was,

"Huh? This is extra spicy?"

"You've got to be kidding me."

"If this is not super spicy, then what is Peri-Peri?!"

I ordered a set meal so I also got a chocolate ball for dessert. The chocolate ball was kinda like a constructivism ball of wonder. It was so round and fat (but small) that I wondered if there was anything inside the ball of chocolate. I imagined it to have a thick chocolate layer on the outside and a hot fudge center. Wow, if only imaginations come true. The chocolate ball was a paper thin layer of chocolate on the outside and a whole block of tough chocolate cake. Bleh.

I checked my Deviantart and I saw some of Mal's new artworks. There was one that caught my eye and it was one of those Devious Fun pieces where you fill in the empty template. This one was about things that inspire you in your artworks. Just looking at what Mal filled in was no surprise. I guess I understood Mal's personality in just two semesters. I sometimes even forget that Mal is Malay. She behaves too Chinese, which is good, I guess. Haha.

An Entry For A Merdeka Evening

I killed myself.

I killed my soul.

I hate yaoi.

Hate, Hate, HATE!

Nothing much happened this evening. I just got into a 'curiosity kills the cat' situation by Wiki-ing 'Boku no Pico'. I heard of it many times from my college friends. They tease a lot about it during our Cameron trip. Well, just now Melvin mentioned about it because after I read the latest chapter of Prunus Girl, I felt a yaoi end so I put it up on my Facebook status update.

An Entry For A Merdeka Afternoon

Well, after brunch, I kinda got to work. I had to drill holes in the walls of my bedroom so that I can put up brackets to hold my curtains. The Sun have been turning my room into an over sized oven for the past few months.

Because I don't like precised measurements, I did not get my points for the holes correct. It took me almost half an hour to get the holes pointed out anyway and some time for my mom to come and check. I had my awesome Vocaloid songs on shuffle playing on my Windows Media Player but thanks to the stupid weather, I had to shut down the computer just so in case it won't be struck by lightning. My sister was good enough today to cook instant noodles for me but she did not wash the pot so I had to wash it along with my bowl and chopsticks.

While everything was happening, I also discussed about my upcoming cosplay plans. I have come up with a list of who I can cosplay this year,

Sawada Tsunayoshi
Maebara Keiichi
L Lawliet
Kakimoto Chikusa
Ichimaru Gin
Madarame Ikkaku
Tomodachi

Hopefully I don't have to cosplay Ikkaku and Tomodachi. I don't wanna get bald and I don't wanna be head wrapped and be ripped off fun again. I took some time to find my old yo-yo after thinking about cosplaying Chikusa. Hm, hm. I don't think I can do Chikusa this year anyway. Denise agreed to lend me anything if I need help but I feel that I'm kind of leeching off her. She said it's okay though... Makes me feel like I'm losing my manly pride. Well, I'm not that manly anyway.

An Entry For A Merdeka Morning

We were all at the dining table having breakfast or should I say brunch together. After having my slices of toast, I went up to the cabinet to get a sachet of instant coffee. I stood on the stool and stretched out to reach for the container containing the coffee sachets. I opened it and,

"Huh? BOH milk tea?"

In confusion, I screamed and hollered, jumped and thrashed about, bash my head against and walls and smashed my teeth against the floor. I was furious, I was mad!

"WHERE IS MY COFFEE?!?!?!?!"

Okay, that obviously did not happen. While I was confused with the milk tea in the container instead of my Nescafe coffee sachets, I looked around the cabinet and found another container of the same design containing the Nescafe coffee sachets. Oh dear, two last packets. I got down and made myself my hot cuppa joe. Mmmm~ What a Merdeka morning. It's almost like any other ordinary morning.

Balloon Head ともだち

Taylor's Asaban Fest 2010, organised by the Taylor's Anime Society, located at Taylor's Lakeside College. A day to remember like any other day, no, scratch that, a day to remember like any other anime convention that is almost as good as Comic Fiesta but wait, I did not have as much fun as those other anime conventions because my hearing and sight sight and almost all of my awareness of my surroundings were cut in half as I was cosplaying Tomodachi. From this I decided not to cosplay Tomodachi unless I'm really out of options.

My dad dropped me at Taylor's Lakeside College Campus around 9:45 in the morning. There I met up with Melvin, Priscilla, Abby and Tecky. We had to wait outside for a while for the doors to open and outside at the Cosplay Cafe was where I saw Cheryl and Emanuel. Abby is again Squalo Superbi. I'm not familiar with Cheryl's cosplay but Emanuel was an awesome Ulquiorra. It took him about an hour to put on all the makeup though. Their friend Yumi was there as well.

As mentioned above, I cosplayed Tomodachi and I regretted it. There was so many thing happening around me but I couldn't see and so I missed out a lot of things. Well, I got fed up with cosplaying as Tomodachi because I really got annoying thinking about all the awesome things happening around me and I can't see them clearly. This is different from at GAMP because GAMP was small and didn't really have a big awesome response. TAF here, is big and there was a huge number of cosplayers around! I had to get out of my blinding mask and take photos! Here I learnt a lesson. Never cosplay characters that will half blind you at big events, you will regret it, big time.

Anyhow, I cosplayed for about three hours and stopped. I took this chance to take photos of other cosplayers and joined Yati in the RPG game the Taylor's Anime Society members made. Without my mask, I got to eat. Yes! EAT! And I got to talk to Jun Ee properly. He said he said 'Hi.' to me while I was cosplaying but did not get a reply from me. Yes, the reason is that I was half deaf!

Asaban had two sessions. One was the day session and the other is the night session. The name, Asaban (朝晩) basically mean 'day and night' with 'asa' (朝) meaning 'day' and 'ban' (晩) meaning 'night'. As the day session came close to an end, I put on my mask again just to satisfy the cosplay side of me. Little did I know that the whole time I was cosplaying, I looked like a balloon head. After the day session came to an end, Kuui and Yati got their hands on free food because the people selling them got desperate to give them away. Kuui was a member of the TAS and he helped out that day, he took a lot takoyaki and chicken burgers and made them his dinner. There was this stall selling Japanese traditional stall food like yakisoba, okonomiyaki, tori katsu and sort. Around this time, they were giving away a buy one free one offer. I got some tori katsu and yakiudon.

After that, the three of us left for Ikano by bus. The rest of the night is a different story now. A stressful but enjoyable story. Hahaha.

15

Today I just learned that Tetris Marathon has 15 levels and I never knew that before.

I was playing Tetris Friends as usual on Facebook when suddenly, the game ended even though my bricks did not touch the top. I was shocked and surprised and question shot through my head:

'Why did it stop?'
'My highest score this week?'
'65,742 points?'
'What's going on?'
'What shall I have for lunch?'
'Is this some bug or something?'
'Did the game get fed up with me and stopped?'
'What's happening?'

And then I realised that there was only 15 levels in Tetris Marathon and that I came to an end of the marathon. Oooohh....

Imagine You See Someone Smiling In Their Sleep And Then Waking Up While Laughing. Isn't That Weird Or What?

This morning I had one of the most funniest dreams I had in my life.

I was dreaming that I moved into this typical nice house that you see in American dramas or movies. In celebration, I joined some friends at a McDonald's outlet. There, there was a birthday party going on. So there was this Ronald McDonald for the birthday boy. While the Ronald was trying to get the children to play, a kid sprayed water at his face with a super soaker. The Ronald tries to ignore it but then his thick make up busted and it was so funny! His face looked like a blown up pie, the thick make up opened up like a flower and his real face behind all that make up turned white from the wet white powder. It was so funny I was laughing in my dream and I woke up while laughing.

And then I went back to sleep.

Überraschung!

Yesterday we celebrated a surprise birthday party for Mal at Sunway Pyramid.

The plan was kinda messy but it worked out somehow. Wilson, Wee, Ann Nee, Andrea, Victor, Suet Ling and I met up outside Fullhouse restaurant. Earlier, Wilson and I made a reservation and handed the cake we bought to the staff. Laura, Nick and Mal were already at Sunway Pyramid. Laura and Nick were to bring Mal to Fullhouse after everything was ready. Kai and Yi-Vonne could not make it in time to be part of the surprise group but they made it for the song and cake.

After the food, Yi-Vonne had other things to deal with so she left us. We headed for the bowling alley as voted. At the first game, Mal, Wee, Wilson, Andrea, Ann Nee, Victor and I played. Then some people had to go back and others wanted to hang around the Pyramid. Wee wanted to play another round so I stayed with him and we played. This went on until we played four games. The third game, Suet Ling joined us, the fourth game, there was Wee, Wilson, Ann Nee, Nicole and I. We got really tired.

After that, Mal went home. There was Wee, Wilson, Kai, Suet Ling, Ann Nee, Nicole and I left. We went to the arcade and some of us tried DDR. We hanged around for around half an hour and I left. The end. I'm so tired... Even after sleeping, I'm still tired but hey, I wanna play bowling again. Hahaha.

What's 1+1?

Today I was really bored so I thought of asking people I know a question.

What is 1+1?

1+1 (or one plus one or wanpluswan) is an obviously easy question that obviously the answer is 2 but it sometimes makes one think, 'Is this a trick question?'.

Well, I spent my whole day waiting for friends to come online so that I can ask them this question. I also asked non-living things the same question. I got a lot of the same answers and only a few interesting ones. Well, proceed with my results.

Sing K

Last Friday, Wee, Ann Nee, Kai, Wilson, Cheryl, Victor, Chia and I met at college to see if any of us got OTP (Option To Progress) and we found that no one in our class got OTP. What awesomeness! It seems like we were the only class in our batch to have no students getting OTP but that also means we either pass or fail.

After that, we got into Wee and Kai's car and we headed for Neway. We were gonna karaoke! In Wee's car were Ann Nee, Victor, Wilson and Cheryl. In Kai's car were Chia and I. Kai did not know the directions so we followed Wee. When we hit the highway, we lost sight of Wee's car so I suggested that we go up the highway but I was wrong. We had to make a U-turn somewhere far away and there, we got back to Sunway again but this time, Chia lead Kai to the wrong road and we were on another highway in the opposite direction from just now. Hahaha. The lost adventure we had was so funny. Kai and Chia was saying how much they wanted to get back at me because I was making a lot of lame jokes on the way. When we finally found our way back, we met up with Mal and Yi-Vonne there. The price was cheap, RM15 each for karaoke, food and drink.

When we went in, the first thing Kai and Chia did was tickle me and I'm not sure who but that person was scratching me instead of tickling. Ouchies. After we ordered our food and drinks, the singing begun. Yi-Vonne was a pro with the microphone. I was nervous because I rarely held a microphone to sing and I couldn't control my voice and I sounded horrible. Hahaha. Victor left after the first session because he also has his other friends to hang out with at Sunway Pyramid.

We extended the time to Happy Hour but little did we know that Happy Hour was not a happy hour for us. After we called for the bill, the Happy Hour was much more expensive than the session we had before it. Wow! Apparently the tidbits were compulsory and they go by number of people. It was suppose to be plates of nuts but because we did not want nuts, they gave us drinks instead. We got ourselves the most expensive cold drinks on Earth! RM11 for a can of 7Up. Ridiculous. That's Neway's new way to earn more money. Even the worker who served us said, 'This is Neway, hahaha, luckily you did not order mineral water, it's RM10, hahaha.'

CD1001-1 Cameron Highlands Trip

15th August, Sunday
Day 1

We gathered outside our college, The One Academy ready to go on our little adventure trip to Cameron Highlands, organised by Ann Nee and Cardin. It was around 7.50a.m. when I got there feeling sleepy because I had slept at 12a.m. and woke up at 6a.m.. I had to rush by family members, don't know why they all wanted to come out this early in the morning. We loaded our bags into the bus and everyone who was there got in. We had to wait for another two of our friends before we can take off (Han and Kai). I was really sleepy so after grabbing my seat, I fell asleep.

Name list (21 people):
Cardin
Yew Wah
Yi-Vonne
Andrea
Grace
Ann Nee
Wee
Victor
Ka Wei
Ileana
Mal
Laura
Suet Ling
Jian Leng
Jackson
Wilson
Kai
Han
Ali
David
Max (Me)

I woke up when I fell off my chair and found that we were already on the move. Almost everyone on the bus was at the back of the bus either singing songs or playing cards or simply watching others having fun. Everybody had their own way of having fun.

We came to a stop at a waterfall at Cameron. Everybody went to touch the cooling water and some dipped their feet in it. Most of us couldn't because we were wearing shoes, socks and long pants. We went to the top and took more pictures and then went back to the bus and continued our journey to the apartment we rented.

We had lunch at a mamak before reaching our apartment. Some of us sat outside to enjoy the cold air breeze while others had no choice but to sit inside because there was not enough space for so many of us.

It started to rain when we reached the apartment so we quickly took out all the baggage and stuff and went into the shelter of the apartment. We have two units, one for the girls and one for the boys. Our rooms are a flight of stairs away so the girls chose the unit below the other. We boys went up to the higher unit and got really excited. There are three bedrooms, two toilets a small kitchen, living room and dinning area. I put my bag together with Kai and the others in the last room at the back. We got so excited Victor and Wee started dancing in the living room. The television had Astro but a lot of channels were not subscribed, the TV was small too. We did some silly things like scaling the walls, jumping to touch the ceiling and pulling this ceiling lamp that can stretch. After that we headed to the girl's unit and we all decided on one thing. We are gonna hang out at the girl's unit, the boy's unit is to sleep and bath.

The girl's unit had a larger television, a higher ceiling and a brighter feel to it; the boy's unit's furniture is dark colored... We took out the PS2 David brought and started playing games. After that, we went out for a walk around the apartment grounds. I left late with Mal, Laura, Ka Wei and Ileana because we were looking for the keys to the girl's unit to lock the door. We ended up getting separated because Ileana and Laura decided that they wanted to look at the shop lots near the area instead of the apartment grounds. That idea came to a stop when we realised that we were no where near any shop lots so we went back into the apartment grounds and walked around. We came across the barbecue pits and a playground. We caught up with the others when everyone was back at the apartment.

Later on, we all went out to board our bus to go to the night market but apparently the night market we wanted to go to is only open during public holidays so we had to go to a small one. We bought some food for ourselves and ingredients for our dinner. The sky turned dark and it rained. Han bought some beer and we went back after everyone gathered.

We went back to the apartment and the girls got ready to cook dinner. Ali and David bought shisha and started smoking so we pushed them out to the balcony. While some people bath, some of us continued to play PS2 games. Time flew and dinner was ready. We had steamboat~ Chicken stock soup and tomyam soup, it was an awesome meal. We all ate up and help out with cleaning. Kai was a gentleman and washed the dishes for all of us.

After we all washed up, Yew Wah, Andrea and the others wanted to watch the Saw series. We did not want to so we stayed in the boy's unit. Suet Ling and Ann Nee came and joined us talk crap. Han opened his beer and gave everyone a cup (Styrofoam cup). I did not really want to drink but I tried it anyway. I took Wee's cup and little did I know it was mixed with Coke.

What happened next, I can't really remember. I remember we were in our room talking about a lot of nonsense and I remember farting a lot. It really stunk! I remember falling off the bed to go to the toilet and blowing my nose and washing my face and also drinking a cup of coffee as ordered by Jackson. Han, Jackson and the others said that I was drunk because I laughed and giggled out of the blue and kept swaying when walking.

After my coffee, I got better; I could still feel dizzy. I went down to the girl's unit and found that Yew Wah, Andrea, Yi-Vonne, Victor, Ka Wei, Grace, Cardin and Jian Leng just finished Saw II and was ready to watch Saw III. I was half-hearted to give Saw a try so I asked Laura, who open her bedroom door at that moment because Suet Ling went back to their room, if the movie was nice. She said it was full of gore and that they (Mal, Ileana, Laura) did not watch the movies. I gave it a try anyway but I left after about fifteen minutes of the movie. There was this guy in the infamous toilet who crushed and broke his foot to escape a chain, then there was this guy named Troy who's got chains chained into his jaw, palms, ankles, eww and then blown into bits and there was this girl named Kerry who's ribcage got ripped out. It was really late at night so I decided not to watch it and so I went back to my room and went to sleep.

I woke up hearing someone snoring, someone with heavy breathing and mosquito bites on my thigh.

16th August, Monday
Day 2

I woke up the last among my roommates, Kai, Han, Jackson and Wilson. I quickly got up, brushed my teeth and changed into my clothes. It was really cold so I wore two layers and got my hoodie with me. I went down to the girl's unit because that's where all the food were and where breakfast was made. Turned out we boys woke up really early because some of the girl's were still asleep. Grace made French toast for us. I made toast and had coffee but I accidentally burnt my toast because I've never used the pop-up toaster before. It even gave me a shock when the toast suddenly jumped out of the toaster.

After breakfast, we all gathered outside and waited for our bus. We were going to go and visit some places in Cameron. We fooled around with cameras and talked about random things. The bus soon came and we headed to our first destination, the Strawberry Farm.

When we went into the bus, we smelled a smelly stench and found our missing bag of prawns the wast meant for your steamboat in the first night. Grace got excited when she saw it from outside the bus as the bus was making a u-turn for us.

It wasn't exactly like a farm. More like a bunch of tourist shops. There was a gift shop, a little cactus farm and another gift shop with a more village feel. We spent the most time in the cactus farm because there were so many interesting cacti all over the place. There were these furry cacti and this cactus that looked like it was wearing a beanie and a cactus that looked like it has a giant caterpillar on it. It was so cool. Mal got a bunch of nice snapshots of the cacti that can be used as a desktop background. Hahaha.

We then went to this Strawberry Shop next to the first gift shop. There we bought strawberry ice-cream. The shop was pretty much filled with tonnes of strawberry related things. After that we boarded the bus again to move on to the next place, the Rose Garden.

Outside the Rose Garden, there was this shop selling corn, strawberries and tomatoes. The lady selling her goods gave us a good price. She let us try some corn and wow! It was superb! It was not too sweet, just perfect! It was so fresh and cold! It was delicious! We decided to buy some corn after our visit in the Rose Garden for the barbecue at dinner.

We had to pay to go in but it was worth the visit despite the fact we did not see the black roses, instead, we got to see a peacock, a peahen, rabbits, roosters and turkeys and they were big! Really big! We also got to see a nice view from the top of the garden. There was a really high and curved bridge, a really steep slide, a really big toy boat on display and a really tall cactus. The garden was like some kind of place with big, long, tall things. Even the smallest things like thorns were big! There was this hibiscus flower that was bigger than Jackson's whole hand! Palm and fingers!

Before leaving, we bought two bags of corn, 12 sticks each bag. Other people bought more corn, strawberries and tomatoes to bring back home for their family. I bought a bag of corn to bring back home.

We headed to the Butterfly Farm. Not a lot of people wanted to go down. Mal and Ileana have a fear for butterflies so they stayed in the bus. Some of us got down and had some snacks at this little cafe. I had cup noodles and an ice-cream. The ice-cream was pretty worth it I guess.

We got back into the bus and headed to for lunch. This time, we split into groups instead of eating together in the same restaurant. Wilson, Kai, Wee, Ann Nee, Jian Leng and I ate at this noodle shop selling simple noodle dishes like Wan Tan Mee and Hakka Mee. After the food, we decided to go look for the others before heading to look for a shop to buy things for the barbecue. We found Han, Jackson and Suet Ling at a table outside a Chinese restaurant eating rice and the others in the same restaurant. We left the group and headed to this grocery shop nearby and looked around. Later on, everybody came and we bought the things we needed. Then we headed back into the bus. I ate one of the corn I bought in the bus while waiting for Grace and Yew Wah who went back out to buy some more things that we forgot.

We went back to the apartments and we all took a break. I took a nap so I have no memory of what happens in this time frame. Looking at pictures posted on Facebook, I learn that our bottle of ketchup fell on the floor and Kai cleaned it up. After I woke up, I went to the girl's unit and watched Mal and Jackson play Tekken 5. I played one game and then it was time to get cooking.

We started going out to the barbecue pits to start the fire. While Ali was working on the fire, some of us went to the playground and played around. We climbed about the monkey bars most. There we came across a pair of dogs, a male and female. The female was pregnant and really fat, well, big. The male one was chicken and did not dare to approach us. The female instead was friendly and it let us pet it. Wilson found this 20sen coin on the ground and passed it to me. I saw Kai swinging on the swing and I flipped it at him telling him to catch it but instead, the coin smacked right into his cheek. He immediately got up and chased me around the area. Hahaha. It was fun.

After that, the marinated food and stuff started to come out. I went to help out by bring out the food from the girl's apartment room to the barbecue pit. The female dog followed Laura and Kai to the barbecue pit and sit around with us. Soon, there was another pair of dogs that appeared, a black male and a skinny female. The skinny female and the earlier male did not come really near us. We decided that we shouldn't have the dogs around us and tried to chase the dogs away. The pregnant dog did not move away and the black dog kept going and coming back. It was so persistent! Turned out the black dog wanted to hump the pregnant dog which made no sense because dogs only hump another dog when it's on heat but this pregnant dog is pregnant, how can it be on heat? If you say the black male one is on heat, it also doesn't make sense because male dogs don't get on heat and if they do, why didn't it hump the skinny female one instead? Weird. We decided to protect the pregnant female which Kai and Laura named Preggie from the black one which Ann Nee named Weng-K9, a reference to Kai's name (Weng Kee). We also had to prevent the other two dogs from coming near our food so we formed The Dog Patrol consisting of Kai, Laura, Wee and I. We spent about half an hour trying to chase away the three annoying dogs. Finally they gave up coming near us when Kai got hold of a large torchlight and I had a pail of water. Kai scared them with the light while I scare them by splashing water at their feet.

It started to drizzle when I brought out the cooked food like meatballs, fishballs and fried noodles. Everyone was out already and we all worked together to prevent the rain from getting to our food. Yew Wah borrowed some umbrellas from a resident in the area and we used them to shield the barbecue pit we were using and the food we had. The rain got heavier but it wasn't really heavy like the ones back down in KL. It was mild, normal rain. Rain that I haven't seen in years. The rain these days are all heavy and pouring in KL. We took the food stuff and cutlery and plates into an apartment block when things started to get even wetter.

The sky started to turn dark and Ali started to grill our lamb chops after doing a test grill on three chicken wings. Grace helped to divide the lamb for everyone by cutting them into small pieces. Not too long after night fell, the rain stopped. Everyone cleaned up the floor of the apartment block we used to put our dirty plates on and went back out to the barbecue pit area. We hanged around waiting for the remanding grilled lamb and gave them to our friends who have not eaten any yet. It was gone soon and then Ali grilled our chicken wings. After everyone finished their chicken wings, Ali grilled his and David's, they decided to grill everyone's food first before grilling their's. The amber died down so Ali had to reheat the charcoal. It took some time for his chicken wings to cook. While we waited for Ali and David to finished their food, we ate the corn we bought for everyone. It was great. Kai, Laura and Ileana fed Preggie some food as well. We called Laksh, Celine and Chia on the phone and greeted them and tell them about our trip so far. It was really a fun night.

After everyone had their dinner, we played about at the barbecue pit area. Yew Wah, Andrea and Yi-Vonne made everyone do the 'So busy.' quote and then Yew Wah got some of us to join him to do an imitation of the Billy puppet from Saw on the tricycle.

I helped to clean up the place and took the plates back to the girl's unit to wash. Well, Kai did the washing again but he did not do all. Some of us helped out by washing some of the dishes as well. Later when everything was settled, we sat around waiting for turns to bath. Mal and Laura invited Kai, Han and I to watch Anastasia in their room and we all (Mal, Laura, Ileana, Suet Ling, Han, Kai and I) got around their bed and watched the movie on a laptop. We stopped half way during the movie but I don't remember why; the girl's had to do something. Anyway, I took a bath in the girl's toilet because it was very cold and the boy's toilets doesn't have hot water. Still, I got fooled by the water heater. The water was also cold. I should have used the toilet in the girl's master bed room, Han said the water was so hot it was like heaven in there. Anyway, after I bathed, we continued the movie. This time, Yew Wah and Grace joined us but they left because they wanted to watch Saw IV.

After Anastasia, Kai, Han, Wilson and I headed back to our room and Suet Ling followed and this time Jian Leng came along. Han poured beer for each of us but Jackson insisted that I should not have a cup. I had no objections but I got a cup later on. We were talking bull halfway when Mal and Laura came into our room. They invited us to a game of Mafia. After teaching us the rules, we played Mafia until 3a.m. and I got drunk halfway through the game; I was really dizzy and I don't remember much of what happened the next day.

17th August, Tuesday
Day 3

Today's the day we go back home. Before we do so, we still have one last place to visit.

I woke up a few minutes before Wilson, Jackson and Han were ready to leave the bedroom. I quickly brushed my teeth, washed my face and got changed. It was cold again so I put on two layers of t-shirts and put on my hoodie. I went down to join the rest for breakfast. We ran out of Styrofoam cups and the girl's had used all the mugs provided so using Wee's advice, I made coffee in a bowl. It was awesome, the coffee, because the weather was so cold. I had Chipsmore for breakfast, shared with everyone, and then I started laming Kai up. I realised we stopped using the term "soul crushed". Even Grace fell victim when I pretended to predict Kai's future using poker cards; it took her a few seconds to realise it. Sorry Grace.

After breakfast, we started packing things up. I quickly packed my clothes into my haversack and took it down to the girl's unit and then proceeded to help pack up other things like food stuff into the Styrofoam boxes and then took them down to the bus that was ready waiting for us.

After everything and everyone got into the bus, we took off. First off we had breakfast. We got split into two groups and we (Wee, Ann Nee, Han, Kai, Jackson, Wilson, Ileana, Mal, Laura, Suet Ling, Jian Leng and me) headed off to our own preference of a breakfast. We came across a fail cafe, we walked up the road following the sign and then it pointed down when we came to a steep road, down at the roof of the cafe. Fail. Hahaha. We walked back down the steep road and went into the cafe. There we had a home-style wan tan mee, some bao (kaya bao, red bean bao, etc.) and other dim sum-style food. After the meal, we headed back to the bus and met up with the other group at the same time.

We headed straight to the BOH tea plantation site. Buses were not allowed to go up so we had to walk two kilometers up the hill to the BOH cafe and factory. Laura, Jackson, Kai and Han were really tired so they stayed in the bus and waited for our return. Up the hill, the weather turned from cooling to hot. So I had to take off my hoodie and the extra t-shirt. When we got to the top, it started to drizzle. After taking some pictures, we quickly got into the BOH cafe and then the rain poured.

We were really lucky because the visiting hours to the factory was available at that time. The tour was really fast, it lasted about 5 minutes. The factory and the cafe looked different from what I had remembered.

After the factory tour, we all sat down and had some tea and cake. I got this chocolate fudge cake and hot green tea. Oh... It was good~ Hot tea after chocolate, it's like wow to your senses. Jian Leng fell victim to the huge pile of chocolate and also ordered one. Really, the slice of Chocolate Melt cake was pretty big.

The rain died out and the Sun came back out. Grace told us that if we want to, we can go ahead first to the top to View Point. Wee, Wilson, Ann Nee, Suet Ling, Jian Leng, Ileana, Mal, and I went up together first. The view was breathtaking. Hill after hill after hill under the huge calm looking cumulus clouds. Mal told us to take some pictures looking out to the scenery standing on the stone benches there but I did not dare to face outward to the scenery.

Soon Grace and the others got up. We took a group photo and then Grace showed us around saying it's her secret spot. After taking a bunch of photos and doing silly childish things we went back down back to the bus. I got really tired because I ran, skipped, jogged, sprint, danced, and "tricycled" down the hill. Seriously, it was really tiring. Should have taken my time walking.

Once everyone got into the bus, we headed straight for home. We tried playing Mafia in the bus but most of us were having motion sickness. I closed my eyes the whole time resting and resisting the swaying of the bus on the zig-zag road down the hills. After we hit the highway, we started playing Mafia, Ileana joined us in the game. We played until we reached Sunway. And so this is the end for our Cameron Highlands class trip. I had a lot of fun (and a lot of farts; I guess the pressure in Cameron made my stomach contract and produced a lot of gases, that was what my sister said) with all my friends. This isn't the end for our class fun, my classmates have organised other activities. Whee~

Game Anime Manga Party - GAMP

After getting out of class after getting tired of listening to Daniel and his contradictory comments on our class's groups's final projects and stupid excuses, I headed to International Medical University (IMU) to attend GAMP.

GAMP was kinda disappointing at first sight. It was smaller than what I had imagined, way too small. Guess my expectations were too high. Well, I was the first of my friends (the Sannin Kai) to get there and I got pretty annoyed when I found out that Kenada was stuck at Tesco. Wayne got there soon and I got into my Tomodachi mask with his help. It was kinda fail at first, the top collar button could not be buttoned so my mask got lose and I could not see well.

We went back to the gents and rearranged my mask. This time the collar button buttoned and the mask stayed in position. Still, my vision is blurred and limited but I could still move around well except for the stairs.

We hanged around until Ken came. Again not in his cosplay. What a fail person. The Hei mask he made was also full of fail. The holes for eyes were tiny little holes made with a needle and the design on the mask was not like the one in the anime. The eyes were too small and the mouth was too close to the eyes. Fail.

Anyhow, we had a small lunch at the university's bistro because the food stall for GAMP ran out of food. We continued at GAMP but there was nothing much to watch. We sat down to watch some sketches and a prize giving ceremony and I fell asleep in my mask because apparently having a cloth around your head and a blurred vision makes you sleepy. I woke up when there was an impromptu singing performance. We walked around some more and I tried to look at the booths selling doujin stuff and the drawings for the drawing competition. Honestly, I couldn't see much. Later I attempted to play Naruto (which was screened with a projector) with my mask on. I played against Wayne and I could not see what I was doing or how much health or chakra I had. I got defeated (duh) but still, I manage to bring Wayne down to red health. This just proves how powerful we are. "We" are students of SMKBU(3) who played Naruto at the game shop in CentrePoint with so much strength it scares noobs and awes normal players.

We found Abby as Squalo. She was with the other KHR cosplayers. Around that time, we found a changing room for guys. Wayne despaired because earlier we saw a girl's changing room but did not see the guy's changing room. We went in and enjoyed air conditioning. We made a second trip back to the changing room when GAMP was coming to an end. I took off my mask and coat and performed Cirno's Perfect Math Class for Wayne and Ken. Stupid Ken did not learn it and Wayne did not practice enough so I danced alone.

We went back to the event hall and found that most things were already packed and have been moved away. Some of the people who were still there did some singing performances and then the dancing begun. The DJ played some popular dancing songs and some people danced. The Sannin Kai just sat back and watched. After everything was over, everyone went back one by one.

Yay! I Did It Again.

Once again I bet my own score and my friend's top score earning myself first place in Tetris Friends.

The score this time: 687344 points.

Crazy? I think so. Surprisingly, I did not find the bricks moving super fast. I think I'm used to seeing speeding bricks.

I got some new challenging games in forms of Tetris mixed with other popular Nintendo games. Tetris DS for the Nintendo DS has got Tetris games mixed with Detroit City, Donkey Kong and others (there's this balloon game, was it called "Balloon"?). The way of playing them are entirely different since the traditional Tetris is mixed with other Nintendo games. It's hard to explain so it's easier if you just get the game and try see it for yourself. Even though there's not a game in Tetris DS related in it, in the Start menu you can see Zelda fighting off or breaking Tetris bricks.

Broom pa pa. Shabadi-doo-da.

Turn The Kaleidoscope

Nothing much happened for the past few days and this blog seems pretty dead for the past few days so I'm just gonna post a random update about what happened recently.

This week is the last week for classes before semester break. Yup, semester break is next week! Design, Computer Graphics and Figure Studies classes were over last week so this week I don't have to go to college for a few days this week but instead, I have to because I've got to work on my stop motion animation for Letterforms class and costume design for History class.

This Saturday is GAMP! I'm gonna cosplay as Tomodachi (Friend) from 20th Century Boys but my mask is having some problems. The cloth I bought is too thin so I have to get another cloth and because my dad doesn't know how thin I need it, I gotta go and choose the cloth myself. Problem is I'm so busy with the final projects it's hard to find time to go. Thursday I've got no appointments so I'm gonna go and buy my cloth on that day and quickly cut and draw the logo on it.

Today Suet Ling, Chia and I did our stop motion animation.

What else? My hair is kinda rough and stiff recently because we ran out of Sunsilk shampoo. Now I'm using this dunno what name shampoo. Apparently it's suppose to be good but no, it's not working for me.

Because I got distracted from blogging this post I forgot what I wanted to blog about. Oh well. Just wait for the next post on Saturday or Sunday.

If life was like what we like, what would your life be like? Would you like the world that you would like it to be like? Would others like the world you would like this world to be like?

Like to be liked or to be not liked is to be liked to be liked by others who like to like.

Okay I don't know what I'm saying now...

Rusty Fingers → Re:Rubik's

It's been a while since I touched any of my Rubik's puzzles. Just today I picked up my 3x3x3 Rubik's cube again. I timed myself and I got 50 seconds at the fifth try. I really did turn rusty huh.

Well, yesterday I accidentally dropped my Nintendo DS and now there's this short black line across the top screen. Sigh... I feel really depressed when I think about it. It's a limited edition Nintendo DS and now it's not so awesome anymore...

I realised I type 'sigh' instead of 'haih' nowadays.

After reading some Uncyclopedia articles, I regretted not reading those articles earlier. If I did, my Computer Graphics project I handed in today would have been more awesome! I was reading about Captain Obvious. I should have put those critic statement thingys, it would go:

"This is a movie." - Captain Obvious

Something like that. Yeah... I should upload my CG project... I'll put it in Facebook and DeviantArt. Oh yeah.

3 Days, 2 Nights, 3 Slippers

After History class on Saturday, Chia and I followed Han and Jun Ne (Han's girlfriend) to his house as planned to do our Design project and we were to make slippers. The materials we came up with were straws (drinking straws), wood and cork. We were tired after class so Chia took a nap in Han's hammock and I watched Kai, who came after us, play Metal Gear Solid 4. Kai was there just to play and pass the time.

After Chia woke up, we got to work. With the guidance of Jun Ne, we manage to finish making our slipper out of drinking straws. We had Dominoes Pizza for dinner. During dinner, I accidentally insulted Chia because Chia doesn't eat beef and the last slice of pizza had beef pepperonis in it. After asking Han, Kai and Jun Ne, I asked Chia, and I said, "Hey Chia, want the last slice of pizza? Oh yeah, you can't have the last slice of pizza. You can't eat beef!". There was a moment of silence before Kai and Han burst out laughing. I then realised I accidentally insulted Chia when I was actually being honest.

After dinner, Kai went on with his Metal Gear Solid 4 while Chia, Han and I continued to work on our straw slippers. It lasted the whole night until 12. At that time, we call it a day and Han and Jun Ne went to sleep. Chia and I watched Kai play Metal Gear Solid. It was until 3a.m. when Kai started playing the game while nodding off. We then went to sleep after Kai realised that he fell asleep while watching the cut-scenes.

We woke up around 11a.m. the next morning. Kai went home to grab some stuff. Chia, Han, Jun Ne and I went down for brunch, Hakka style noodles. We watched Band Of Brothers and Valkyrie while eating and after eating. After that, we headed out to buy some stuff for our next two slippers.

After we got back, we watched Coraline. Kai who came back some time during the movie (I was so occupied with the movie that I did not realise he came back) when to continue playing Metal Gear Solid 4. After the movie, Kai went back home to sleep to get ready to work on his project at night. That's just how he does his work. So, Han, Chia and I went back to work on the wooden slippers by taking some of Han's unwanted planks of wood and sandpaper them. We also glued ice-cream sticks to the bottom of our straw slippers. After smoothening the wooden planks and gluing the felt we bought to the planks, we went back in to rest. Han played started a new game on his Metal Gear Solid 4 and Chia and I watched him play. We went back to check on our slippers but it failed. The glue did failed to make the straw and the ice-cream sticks stick together. We then spent the next few minutes thinking up ideas on how to fix our problem.

Han's mom soon called us down to the dinning hall and we all had dinner together with Han's mom and sisters. I was really shy at that time so I did not eat much even though Han's mom insisted that I can have seconds. I was just really, really shy. Han's older sister is really hot by the way. Lucky guy.

After dinner, we went out again to buy elephant glue and UHU glue. When we got back to Han's house, we went back to work immediately. It was night already. Han's friends came over and invited us to play snooker. Han was caught in limbo to go out and to stay at home because Chia and I did not want to go out to play. After Chia's conformation, Han and Jun Ne went out while the two of us sit back and relax. We played Spore on Han's laptop until they returned. Soon after, we all went to sleep at 12.

Han took us to breakfast after dropping off his younger sister at school. We ate at a mamak and then headed for a huge crawl before dropping Jun Ne at her condo and reaching college. We did not manage to finish the slippers in time but Han ensured us that he can finish it before tomorrow. I hope he will make it in time. Well, this was the first time I stayed over at a friends house for more than two days and a night. Pretty awesome for a new experience! Now I owe Han and Kai money because I forgot to take my allowance out on Saturday. He.. he.. he...
