Jumping Japan

Today a student from Japan came to visit my school as she came via a foreign student exchange program. I can remember her name, Eiko. She was wearing her school uniform, long sleeve shirt, typical Japan school skirt and a blue blazer with a BIG badge with the words, "Exchange Student Program" (something like that??) and "Japan" on it. She sat in our class for two periods at the back, with the girls. Huuh... We (group in front of class) didn't get to talk to her as class was going on and after it was over, the girls all gather around her like an igloo. Haha.

Taking It To A New Level

Recently I've started solving my Rubik's 3x3x3 using one hand. I manage to solve it in about 5 minutes. Then, I went to the extreme, I tried using my feet. Fail! I solved one side in about 20 minutes. What the heck?! No more cubing with feet, I hurt my ankle anyway.

LOUD!

That's what it is.

LOUD 2009 was a blast! There was music in the air, and hyper people everywhere! (Or maybe it was because I was hyper I thought that other people were hyper too.) LOUD (Living Out Ur Destiny) is a Christian event organised by XYZ and DUMC. This great event was held at the Dream Centre.

There were two parts of the event, one is a bunch of band performances performed by youths outside at the indoor car park and the other is the main event which is held in the auditorium of the building and that is LOUD! (...and I am Aku...)

Josh invited me to the event and I pretty much know all about it and what people can expect going there as it's my second time to LOUD (I was at LOUD 2008.). I got there at around 6 and left my sister to go join with my friends and she join hers. Josh was with Jak, Yati, Yubs and Marcus. We all headed into the indoor car park and I bought a sandwich. We went around and saw familiar faces and friends. The Backstreet Boys (well, half of the Backstreet Boys: WL, WZ, and Jeremy) along with Karmen (missing Marion, they make a combo! (or known as the Yuri Duo)) were there too. We met SenzO and Khai too. As usual, SenzO is as emotionless as he normally is (when there is nothing that excites him for example, K-On!.). Yubs said Ken and Jason were there too, too bad I did not see them... We saw Suzanne, Mark and Vincent also (Too bad Kaili wasn't there or we could have teased Sean. Hahaha!!). We hanged around for a while and then we went into the auditorium with provided thunder sticks.

BAM!

I fell down face down when walking towards Yati who dashed away and grabbed sits for us. I laughed and started to get hyper (Not good news. Haha.) As the countdown counted and people pushing each other through the doors, people around used the pang-pang sticks (thunder sticks) and started to make noise. I joined in and started whacking Jak and Yati with the sticks.

10! 9! 8! 7! 6! 5! 4! 3! 2! 1!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*screams

It's started! LOUD started with the Junkyard Invaders coming onto stage and beat their tubs and pails to the music. The Junkyard Invaders is the main reason I go to LOUD. Haha. After that, the MCs got on stage and gave the opening welcome to everybody. Then was some cheer leading squads performance. They were good but they happen to make one mistake during the performance. The MCs then got back on and got some guys to go on stage and dance to Micheal Jackson's Billie Jean. There was one guy who was like David Elsewhere! He was as jelly as him! And he did a really nice moonwalk! Wow!

XYZ did a really cool dance performance. Project GSus was back and did some songs and then good old Melvin came up stage and did what he always did, convince non-Christians to convert to Christianity (If this statement disturbs you, sorry, people have different points of view from others.). Thanks to Yati, I got very hyper and started bullshitting at everything Melvin said. Then there was this touching video of a guy sacrificing his son for the lives of people on a train. I got teary but soon got hyper again. I unintentionally insulted some sensitive stuff and Marcus got irritated. Thanks Yati! It's all your fault! Yati was laughing at my bullshit. (When Melvin said "All hail the Lord", I said "All hail Britannia!". When Melvin said "Believe in Jesus", I said "I believe in Kamina who believes in me!" and when Melvin said "Believe in Jesus" again, I said "But I'm Haruhiism!".) To everybody, I'm sorry!!

After the closing ceremony, Josh and the others left because Josh was sending Yati, Marcus, Jak and Yubs home. I watched some people play Foosball and I was impressed by how they play it. Josh's brother was among them and Josh explained to me that his brother surfed YouTube and learned skills in playing Foosball. Wow. After my dad came, my sister and I left the Dream Center. Hope there's LOUD 2010 next year!

(Note to self: Better control the hyper-ness and the high-ness.)

Defination Unbelieveable

When I saw it Liked by JC on Facebook, I thought why don't I just have a look since the name had "Sorry Sorry" in it (Super Junior). What I saw for the first few seconds was wow, but then, what I saw for the rest of the video was, "........" with, (O∀O) and I was speechless and breathless. I could not breath! Literally! I was so shocked, amazed and inspired that my jaw was hanging below my head.

Eclipse

Today was as cold as Genting. Ken lend me his jacket so I did not have to suffer the morning chill as it had rained this morning. We did our usual stuff and I tried to act cute with the jacket as it was kinda big my size. I did Kogami Akira's signature call, "Oha Lucky~" and did some girly anime girl poses. Haha. Fear the power of a bored otaku... Then I had put the jacket above my head and became "headless". Also, I did the missing arm thing like I did yesterday when I felt cold too and wore my lab coat with my left arm folded so that I look like I only have my arm until my elbow. Josh decided to get revenge on me by slapping me with his jacket sleeve like I did to him yesterday. Today a lot of our teachers did not come to class, so basically the whole class (about half the class came to school today...) were waiting for the eclipse and Zack brought his camera to take a picture. We waited until recess came, and we gave up waiting. After school, a nightmare came to me after a series of happy things. The MOT group I'm following has decided a kamikaze!! NOOOOOO!!!!!!!! The moderators have gone crazy!! Noooo~!!! Now I'm trying my best to get all the MOTs I have not "stolen" before the thread gets locked. Time ticks by. Damn!!

GAME OVER

We (Abby, Penyu, Yati, HH, KK, Leon, Luke, Eugene, Jak, HT, SY and I) went to 1Utama again for our next dodgeball match and this time we're really playing a real game. (HT and SY came to support us only.) We gathered at around 11 and warmed up and rehears our strategies. We were confident and nervous at the same time. Who doesn't? Our match was against the Thunder Balls (Hahaha!!) which is a collage team. Guess what? We found out that we were the only secondary school team. Hahaha.... Shit...

We lost at the end. 7-0. The Thunder Balls said that we were good despite being secondary school students. Wow~

After our lost, we all headed to play pool and bowling, and we saw HY with her family. I dunno what got into Jak but he had to shout, "What the fuck!" in the bowling alley after failing to get me remember who "Benjamin" was (because he did not mention the surname and got the difference between our ages wrong!). I think almost everybody hear him as I can hear his sentence echo through the alley.

After the game, Yati and I headed to Ikano to meet up with Melvin and Marcus (Double M! Lol) to watch Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. Marcus had free tickets to the movie and invited us. Thanks Marucs~!

But I think the movie sucked. It was too short a story in a movie too long and most of the time we see only Harry and Dumbledore. Ugh.

Waste of Time

I had probably the worse day.

To make it short,

-Yati and I went to SMKBU(2) carnival. Wanted to go to haunted house but not enough time as we needed to be at 1Utama by 9 for our dodgeball competition.

-Penyu told us our match starts at 3. Damn. Luke took us to 1Utama.

-We watched the matches until around 12.

-We found out we won by default as our opponent did not come. Holly cow!

-Went back to BU(2) carnival via Abby.

-Abby's parents forgot where they parked their car. Lol.

-Got to Bu(2) but was too late as it was almost over. Nooo...

-Played basketball there with Able, Jason, Ken, Andrew and Unknown-guy-to-me.

-Went to Penyu's condo to practicle dodgeball.

-Tired like shit.

I feel like shit.

Ground Dough and Sizzled Ladies

I keep forgetting to post this so here goes.

I burnt my fingers twice. First is by hot tea (as stated in my previous post) and another was touching a hot tray of 160°C!! Both were the right hand and both were the same fingers, up and them down! Wargh!

I have this habit of looking at the ground when walking and I am trying to get rid of it but this habit paid off! I found 10 bucks lying on the floor when walking home from tuition! Lucky~!

Also, I got an extra change of 5 bucks at my school canteen. I noticed it after school. Lol.

As soon as I got off the car, I walked at full speed heading straight to The Apartment. My standard 6 reunion dinner was held there and I was excited and nervous as it's been five years since we saw each other (excluding Josh and Jessie who are in the same school as me and Min and YB who we met in a small gathering in Form 1). I was looking into the restaurant when Josh called me from behind and I half-laughed as I saw about a quarter of my ex-classmates sitting outside. Everybody almost looked different! Well, I recognised Johanan immediately, it seems like his face did not change, only his height. Haha. YB also looked the same as ever, big eyes, nice smile, no change. I sat somewhere near the end of the table and in front of me was YP, yeah, he wanted to meet me after so many years and now that we finally met each other after 6 years, nothing much to say... Hahaha!! Jason pretty much had big differences as he migrated to Australia but he's not as tall as I had expected. Next to me was Jii and in front of him was Vincent. Seemed like they had almost forgot about me but they remembered me as "the guy who draws". I can remember most of the people on the table but there was one girl next to SK who I completely forgot. After checking the class photo when I got back home I then recognise her but still don't remember her name, even after hearing it! What kinda person am I!? Horrible! There was this guy who I have no memory seeing before at all but everyone else knows him. Later, Josh and I found out that he was our "fat karaoke king" in Standard 6. Whoa! He had completely changed inside and out!

Later we ordered our food and drinks. Whoa! This place has placed a friggin' expensive price on drinks that we can get anywhere, Coke, Pepsi, you know, carbonated drinks. I ordered a lamb rack and green apple juice. As expected, the lamb rack is tasty but unexpected, not filling. I was hungry after the meal... so was Johana. Hahaha. We took group photos, talked and exchanged numbers. Jessie came after the dinner because she was watching a movie at E At The Curve (use to be Cineleasure). One by one, each of us left. We decided to have another reunion. I have karaoke, bowling and pool table in mind. Heeheehee...

I'm not at Daicon

Unbelievable huh? I did not go to an amazing anime convention. I was upset at first but I'm okay now as I know that as long as I go to Akibahara I get to experience what it is like at Daicon. (The only difference is that it's obviously better in Akiba!!) Oh well, all I gotta do is wait for SenzO and Yati to post their experience and read it on their blog. ニッパ～！

All In An Evening

-I saw a guy with a horrendous afro at the tunnel connecting The Curve and Ikano.

-Sms-ing Yati. He tried to make me jealous because I'm not going to Daicon.

-I spilled hot tea over my fingers when placing in on the table for my mom at Ikea. It hurt a lot! It felt like my skin was pealing off. My mom made a fuss about it and the staff came with a first aid kit. I ended up with an ice bag.

-My fingers were numb and cold and it felt like rubber! My sister pinched and twisted the skin and it felt funny.

-My sister said, "Guinness Stout" and a guy who just passed us excaimed, "Guinness Stout!" because he bought a bottle.

15,499 times?!

I just watched Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu Season 2: Episode 4 and I found something not right. In this episode, Kyon, Koizumi and Mikuru learn that they have experienced summer 15,499 times after hearing from Yuki and what happens next is a mystery to those who did not read the novel, but even though I knew what was gonna happen, 15,499 times sounded wrong plus the end of episode 4 showed that Kyon have not done anything yet telling us that they are gonna experience summer 15,500 times! That is really, really, really wrong! I went back to Baka-Tsuki and found my answer. For some reason, the anime had them repeating summer 15,500 times but in the novel, it was just 15,498 times. Now what makes me wonder is why did the people behind the anime made it 15,500 times? Are they trying to fill in so that the anime can have 24 episodes as planned? Then why don't they just do as the novel is? Is it because they have planned a season 3 for Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu? Only time will tell. Haih... This is just getting boring. When is the next chapter coming out~? I can't wait to see what happens to Kyon and Sasaki...

Eating Shit Off the Floor

National Service (NS) was the hot topic of today. Everybody was crazy over it and majority were hoping not to get selected, I'm included. Xin, Sam and Jak got hit by the horrible message and Jak said he does not know whether to be happy or sad. Xin was jokking about how Jak would kill all the people at NS. Later in school, we talked about Girl Scouts that sell cookies. It was funny and mostly about getting their customers money using various methods including poison, stun guns, pantie shots and many more.

I checked whether I got selected into NS when I got home and I was relieved to find that I was not chosen. Yippy~!! I told Ken that if I was chosen I would escape to Japan and hide in Mt. Fuji and loose all contact with the outside world. I was half serious about it. Haha.

I watched the 2012 movie trailer. It was out of this world! The Day After Tomorrow was already awesome with the Statue of Liberty getting submerged and frozen but now? The White House getting crushed by Kennedy! And also lands the size of Singapore tipping over and sinking like the Titanic? I have to watch that movie!! Oh, which reminds me, I have not watch Night In the Museum 2 yet. *Sobs
