SMK BU(3) Wind Band Concert 2009

Just today my school band performed at a concert at KBU. It says "wind band" but I don't think xylophones and drums are wind instruments. I did not take any pictures but over all, it was just satisfactory. While we were listening to the band, Marcus, Yubs and I played Worms 2 on Marcus's hand phone, while I toyed with my Rubik's cube. That's it I guess. What would you expect from a post about something not very interesting.

Xin's Christmas B.B.Q. Party

Yeah, so we sped all the way back from Singapore and reached Xin's house. When we stopped in front of his house, Xin jumped with joy and Yubs and Ken came to greet me. I grabbed my stuff from the boot and joined them. On my way back from Singapore, Marcus gave me a call and Xin sms'ed me asking if I'm gonna make it to the party, he sounded so worried. Hahaha!!

When I got to the party, I was very late but Xin, Yubs and Ken were happy. Marcus and Abby had already left and only Yubs was staying the night over with me. After Xin's dad sent Ken home, Xin and him cooked some food for me. Man, I felt embarrassed! After the midnight dinner, we went into the house and played Xin's Play Station 2. I tried Guitar Hero and then we played Burnout until 2a.m. We went into Xin's room and we watched American Pie. We went to sleep after that. The next morning, Min went to get her PMR results and Xin and I played some Marvel game.

I went home after that.

What an ending...
The End~

Visit to The Lion City (Day 3 & 4)

We went to the Sembawang beach. While the girls played, my cousin told me some stuff about him in the Boys Brigade and cleaning the beach we were at. After that, I hit the sand and decided to do make something but I did not know what to build as building a sand castle would be impossible for me. My cousin did not want to join us so he took pictures instead.

That's Johor at the horizon and if you can see it, there's a patrol boat in the sea.

I spent 2 hours digging not knowing what to dig but for what I knew, I was digging a huge hole in the beach. It started with a small hole which shaped like a cave if looked at from the inside but the surrounding sand kept collapsing so the hole got bigger and bigger. Soon, I have dug quite a large hole and by the large hole was a huge pile of sand. I had nothing better to do so I made something that I would wanna make again...

So here it is! My cousin took a break from taking pictures so you can't see the process of the huge hole but here is what I made at the end.

As you can see, the hole I made became a cavern and I used some to the sand to make a volcano in it, so basicly I made a volcano in a cavern. Man, I'm a genius! When I make another story, I can use this as a place! Woot! Woot!
Camera's eye view of the inside of the cavern.
I used two cups my cousins brought to make a castle-like watchacallit. Now it looks like a castle made in a mountain standing next to a cavern that has a volcano in it.
Dorothy asked me to make a connecting river from my cavern to her's. Whatever. I just did it for fun because I got bored after my creation.
Hahaha. I tried to make a turtle but guess I suck at making sculptures.
My sisters found some fish in the sea and fished them out. They were tossed back into the sea later.

We had dinner at Tony Romas near some popular places (according to my cousin) like the "Chopsticks" and the "Durian" which was suppose to shaped like a microphone. I had my enjoyment at the restaurant devouring ribs after ribs. I also had a steak and a large serving of potatoes. We used our hands to enjoy our ribs and the people sitting near us was looking at us as they used their fork and knifes. I could see in their eyes that they wanted to used their hands as well but they were dressed in suits and looked very smart. Hahaha.

After the scrumptious dinner of ribs, we headed to the Merlion to see it up close. There were loads of balloons in the lake coloured red and white. My uncle told me that they were for the new year celebration. The picture was not very as the lighting sucked.

The next day, we packed our bags and got ready to go back to Malaysia. My uncle had to go to work and my parents went to see some guy who does some kind of massage with my aunt so we kids, stayed at home. We played computer games until my parents got home. Then we said our goodbyes and left Singapore. We got lost trying to get to the Causeway because they closed some roads for trucks and lorries. After we got out, we "flew" at high speed, acceding the speed limit at 115 to 120 km/hr. We did not head back home but we went to Xin's house because I was supposed to attend his Christmas/New Year party that he set up for me. Story continues next post.

Visit to The Lion City (Day 2)

On the second day in Singapore, we went to the bird park. Luckly there wern't as many people compared to the Singapore Zoo.

Looks like a Predator right? Haha!

Two emo's posing. Haha.
That's what you call a meeting.

The headless penguin!! Roar!! Just jokking. It was sleeping.

My cousin was teasing this bird.

Look! It's Jason's cousin! Hahahaha!!
My sisters look as if they are thiefs who succeded in stealing an ostrich egg. Yes, that's a real ostrich egg.
This is Oscar the ostrich! Woot! Woot!

This bird decided that my uncle was tastier and nibbled on him. Hahaha.
"You better not bite me, buster."

My cousin Dorothy feeding the birds.
My cousin Dominic and this bird that came out to greet us. Lol.

If you can see the owl, good for you.
We had lunch in the park and ate ostrich meat. It was good, much more tender than chicken. We watched two bird shows and fed the ostriches. I kinda felt bad for Oscar and Olgar the ostrich. Haha.
