My New Year Firm Decision To Do Or Not To Do Something 2011

Some people might have already listed down their new year resolutions already. I wonder what new year resolutions I should have this year, all the past year resolutions did not really work or whatever. It's an hour till new years so whatever.

My new year resolution, hmm...

1. Spend less money on lunch.

2. Work harder at college.

3. Be less lazy. Maybe post longer blog posts, work harder on whatever I do, things like that.

That's pretty much about it. Screw No.3. Ha. Ha.

Energy That Runs In My Blood

It's been awhile aye? 2011 is just around the corner and I have finished two anime series before it happens. While at that, I'm now watching three anime series thanks to Kenada.

First I finished Saki (咲), an anime about mahjong. I won't go into details because I'm lazy and I'm in download mode. I'm currently downloading songs, and more songs. Go Wikipedia for further details. Well Saki is about a girl named Miyanaga Saki who has an amazing ability to score 0 points in mahjong which is said to be harder than to win consistently. She joins the mahjong club in her school and goes for the nationals. Well, Saki got me interested in mahjong. Surprisingly I was not that into mahjong before because I never got the chance to learn how to play the game. Well, Saki is really good, I mange to guess that it was produced by Gonzo because of the similar art style as Strike Witches. There are countless scenes that help you get engrossed in the anime and mahjong and as well the motivation to watch the next episode but the weak point of the anime is the number of flashbacks! There were a lot of flashbacks, I kept having urges to skip them. Still, I recommend Saki. Before I end I would like to say something, I don't like Nodoka! She's not aerodynamic! There's huge blobs of fat! Arrgghh!!!

Next I finished Taishou Yakyuu Musume (大正野球娘。), an anime about baseball. During the taishou period in Japan where running is considered vulgar for girls, a group of school girls play baseball, a sport which was only meant for men during that era. This anime really made my hands itch to play baseball. The enthusiasm and spirit of the girls really made me want to play baseball again (well, I played softball in high school). Because the time setting is located in the taishou period, the Japanese spoken by the characters were formal honorific Japanese and it kinda boggled my mind because most of the anime I've watched have slang and rough language. Well for baseball lovers, watching this! I'm telling you! The art style and color also really matched the taishou period pretty well.

Next up, I'm watching ef: A Tail Of Memories, Angel Beats! and Kami Nomi zo Shiru Sekai (神のみぞ知るセカイ). Yes. So far, ef is kinda confusing even though I have watched two episodes already. Even so, I'm eager to understand the story. I've only watched the first episode of Angel Beats! so I'm still hanging around the confused zone. Angel Beats! have proven to be a good anime in just the first episode, I can't wait to watch the next. For Kami Nomi zo Shiru Sekai, I think the first episode is kind of a rush but I guess it went pretty well. The beginning was too sudden compared to the manga. Also, I did not expect Keima to have such a voice. Huuh... Same goes to Elsea. Their voices did not go as how I imagined. Oh well.

Well, what's up next? I'm planning on buying Strike Witches season 2 and the first Haruhi movie, Suzumiya Haruhi no Shoushitsu. Maybe some others as well, I just need the money to buy them. But the problem is I also need money for my cosplay! Gah!! Where's my allowance?! I have to save money from now on! Cut down expenses on lunch! Noooo!!!

Haunting 21

Today I went to the clinic to check on that leech bite I had at Triplex. I had to take numbers and wait for my turn and I had to take two. The two numbers were 1121 and 5211. What's the probability for one person to get the number 21 in both papers? I don't care, too lazy to do the math. The point is, I'm haunted by the number 21. Hah. I think I said this before last year.

コミク・フィエスタ 二〇一〇

This year's Comic Fiesta was a blast! My second Comic Fiesta and compared to last year's, this years was the bomb. There was a whole lot more cosplayers, a whole lot more variety of cosplay characters, a whole lot more people who attended Comic Fiesta 2010. Unfortunately for me, I did not have a camera to take, so I am really unfortunate to be unable to take photos of all the countless cosplayers at Comic Fiesta. Oh well.

Pre-Comic Fiesta

I went to college to check my OTP results and I met Chia, Wee and Ann Nee. Chia told me that none of our classmates got OTP so I had one thing less to do. I then headed to Block K with my huge box of stuff and found Cheryl and Nicole. I joined them and did edits to my Anime and Vocaloid Song Guessing Game songs. Cheryl and Nick were making their keychains for sale at Comic Fiesta. Soon Emma and Jian Leng came and following after them was Mal and then Kai. Everyone was here and we were all getting ready for Comic Fiesta.

Soon after Mal got back from buy duct tapes for her Tetris block costume, Kai lead Emma, Jian Leng and I to his car so that we can put our stuff into it, then we headed to KFC to have lunch. Cheryl, Mal and Nick went to have some of their doujin art stuff printed and later joined us. After lunch, we all headed to Daiso in Sunway Pyramid to buy some stuff and after that, Cheryl and Nick went to this new Japanese candy shop to buy some candy. We then all went back. Mal was staying over at Nick's and the rest of us are staying over at Cheryl's along with Yumi and Blackcatz.

Cheryl led Kai the way to her house and we all crowded into her house. We put our things down and settled in, getting 'make yourself feel at home' sink in. Well, Yumi, Blackcatz, Jian Leng and Emma have been to Cheryl's house before numerous times already so it was easy for them. I guess it was because of Emma and Jian Leng's lax attitude I also made myself feel at home. Haha.

After bathing and relaxing around, Cheryl's parents and brother came home. Her dad had bought us dinner and we all dug in. After that, Cheryl and Yumi practiced on their makeup while Jian Leng and Emma got their props ready. Kai tried on his Lao costume and then did what he does best, play Monster Hunter on his PSP. Jian Leng and Emma decided to disturb Kai and the four of us were on the mattress making fun of each other. Later at night, we all were at the hallway. Emma was gluing his Devil May Cry fingers to his gloves. We then hit the sack after that.

Comic Fiesta Day 1

We got up really early around 6.30a.m. except for Kai who as agreed will wake up at 7. Nicole and Mal came around 7.15 and after we got all our stuff, we headed out. The girls sat in Nicole's car (her mom was driving) and the boys into Kai's car. Cheryl's younger brother, Ben, joined us.

Nick's mom drives fast and we almost lost them when we were along Jalan University; we followed a wrong car. Haha. Well, it did not take us long to get to Times Square. After dropping off Jian Leng and Emma, Yumi lead Kai to the parking lot and we later met up at the Meridian Hall in the hotel.

After getting permission, Cheryl lead us to our booth in the hall. We started setting up our booth and because I was gonna be at the booth full time, Nick, Cheryl and Mal ran through the prices of their stuff and I settled into the booth. In the hall, other booth owners were also setting up their stall. I had problems arranging the things not needed on the booth and I ended up having only one chair because I had to put my huge box on one chair so that it'll be easier to open it to show people the sock dolls my mom made for sale. Later Ann Nee and Wee came by and Ann Nee stayed with me to help out.

My feelings? Excited. This would make it my first time at a booth, I got to experience Comic Fiesta in a different point of view. When the doors opened and people started to swarm in, I could not help but to smile because that is the moment Comic Fiesta officially starts.

Rin-neechama and Senzo came by to visit, with them was Jo Yen and Amanda (I only got to know her on the second day). Soon I started to see people I know passing by the booth. It was really refreshing? Is that the word? I felt really happy because I got to see friends who I've not see for a long time. Julian, Wilson, Wei Jin and Justin were there too. It took me some time to recognise Abby, she was cosplaying a character from Angel Beats and she looked really different. Yati, Yat Sun and Wayne soon came by. Yati was cosplaying Yamamoto while Wayne was Byakuran. Really, Yati did a good job on his handmade katana and Wayne's costume was perfect, to me at least, it was perfect. For some reason what seemed like minutes was hours. Ann Nee and I were dying to get out and buy a Black Rock Shooter shirt that was on sale on a booth opposite of ours, unfortunately it was sold out very fast.

This year there wasn't the spam of same cosplay characters like last year (there was a huge number of Kagamine Rin and Len). This year the Vocaloid cosplayers did a huge coverage on the different Vocaloids and UTAUloids. There was even Defoko or Utane Uta! I almost cried tears because someone actually did Utane Uta. I thought no one would cosplay her. There was even a Lily on the second day. Akita Neru was also present and of course, Black Rock Shooters were there. The characters from the anime were also cosplayed. I was awed my brains out.

Around 3.00p.m. Ann Nee and I were getting hungry. I'm not sure about Ann Nee but I wanted to jump out of my shoes and do a sprint around the hall to buy things I want. Of course that was impossible, the lanes along all the booths were packed and flooding like a river. Our sales at the booth wasn't so bad. I hate to say this but I had good sales while the others did not really get good responses. Cheryl and Nick's keychains were sold off pretty fast and Nick manage to sell some of her fan art. Unfortunately for Cheryl and Mal, Cheryl's fan art keychains did not sell and Mal only sold one of her Prussia Photo Booth fan art. My Anime and Vocaloid song guessing challenge got quite a good response surprisingly. A few people played but most of them tried the Vocaloid only and only one person tried the anime. Out of the few people, only one person manage to get a score over ten. Haha. She was cosplaying a Meltdown version Vocaloid (I'm not sure though, her hair was black), I think it was suppose to be Rin. She wrote some Japanese on the list and she manage to guess quite a lot of the songs. Unfortunately she was only familiar with the Vocaloids, she did not do well with the UTAU and others.

After some time, around 4 (I can't remember, my sense of time was lost), Cheryl and Nick came back to the booth to take over our place. They also brought some food for Ann Nee and me. The two of us then headed out to the mall and had our lunch. After that, we went back to the hotel and we had a look at all the booths and the displays around. Along the whole way from the hotel to the mall and from the mall to the hotel, I was practically spazzing over the cosplayers. I was really happy when I saw Touhou Project cosplayers like Reimu, Patchouli, Remilia and others. This year there was a lot of crossplaying guys as well, and I really mean a lot. There were so many it's like a trap fiesta. Well, thanks to this and some encouragement from friends, I think I want to crossplay too. Haha. Rin and Cheryl sure are excited about it and Jian Leng said he would crossplay too.

There were a lot of things I want to buy, especially badges. Ever since Cheryl gave me my first anime-related badge, I wanted to more. It's like a new hobby now, anime badge collecting. I bought a huge bunch of badges (not really huge) and an ANBU mask. After Ann Nee and I finished our "tour" we headed back to the booth and took our places again. Ann Nee was tired so she took a nap under the table. Haha. When she came back up she complained that people who stopped to look at our booth kicks her. Around 6, Wee came back to take Ann Nee home. I stayed at the booth and I don't remember what happened. Hahaha.

Later Cheryl, Nick and others came in to check on me. Day 1 was coming to an end so we packed up and then we headed home. Everyone was exhausted except for me. My legs were only tired because I was standing the whole day, literally, I only sat down for 10 minutes and then continued standing. The whole day would mean 9 hours? My gosh, but oh well, I had my own fun. This was Kai's first time cosplaying and on top of that he's at the biggest event of the year. He was really, really tired. Too bad I did not get to try on Mal's Tetris block costume.

Back at Cheryl's house, we had dinner Cheryl's dad bought and then we got ready for Day 2. My mom said that she'll bring more dolls for me to sell so I had to stay up and wait for my dad. Kai was already asleep and I was watching Scrubs with Jian Leng and Emma. The three girls were in Cheryl's room. Later, Cheryl came out to check on us. Cheryl and I then got down to dividing the earned money because it was messed up some time during the event. Soon, around 12.00a.m., my dad arrived and Cheryl took me out to find my dad. I gave the money I got for the dolls to my dad for my mom and then we went back in. Kai woke up and then went back to sleep. The rest of us also hit the sack after we got our stuff ready.

Comic Fiesta Day 2

This time I'm cosplaying, again as Keiichi, this time I have my Rena~ Rin-neechama got her costume last month. The morning is the same, after having some stew Cheryl's mom cooked, we all headed out and same way we did yesterday. This time Kai did not lose track of Nick's mom and the both of us headed down to the car park after dropping Jian Leng and Emma. Kai parked his car in the same parking lot. Haha.

Up at the hall, we all sat down outside the event hall exit. The Comic Fiesta community members were having a briefing. Later, we went into the hall to set up our booth again. Because I wouldn't be at the booth, I briefed Kai on the sock dolls and I decided to sell the Chupa Chups lollipops instead of setting up the song guessing challenge. After Kai got the idea, I headed back out to find Rin and Senzo.

It was funny because Senzo called me, trying to find me and we were both facing each other less than a meter apart. We got together and Rin passed me her wig and a pair of scissors. She told me to style it and she headed to change to her costume. Senzo followed and I asked Cheryl's help to style the wig. I can't thank Cheryl enough. She has been helping us everyday, letting us sleep at her house, use her things, she's awesome. Cheryl helped me style the wig after helping Nick put on makeup and then proceeded to help Emma with his makeup. We got up and then started hanging around. I did not get to take that many pictures but I'm okay with it. Rin on the other hand got lots of pictures. Haha. Maybe I should have not been so timid and get Keiichi's casual outfit instead of the school outfit. Meh...

Here I got to know Amanda and we had lunch together at a shop that apparently is part of Shabu Shabu. We then rushed back to the event hall because Rin and Senzo joined the cosplay competition. Rin was really nervous and scared, she panicked on stage and ran out after a few minutes. Poor Rin. We manage to cheer her up later.

After walking around and around, I headed back to the booth. Kai was bored out of his boots. I walked around once more the rows of doujin booths to see what I want to buy with Rin, Senzo, Jo Yen, Yati and Wayne. In that journey, I bought a Special Orchestra t-shirt (Nodame Cantabile TV drama) and a bunch of badges. I finally manage to get a Cirno badge! Yay~ I was wishing there was something like ⑨ with Cirno's ice wings but this will do.

I went back and sat at the booth with Kai and Mal. I was really, really tired. Haha. After Rin, Senzo, Yati and Wayne left, I fell asleep at the floor of the booth by the wall. I don't know how long I was asleep but after I got up I was still tired. It was already around 6 something and Cheryl and the rest were already at the booth. We packed up and headed out. As we were going down, we passed by a vending machine and I joyfully bought a can of coffee. Cheryl's dad was busy so we waited for her dad to come with Cheryl and we ate dinner together at the food court in the mall.

After Cheryl's dad came, we split into two again, this time Cheryl was the only one in her dad's car because her sword was huge and there was not enough space of others. Yumi, Jian Leng, Emma and I got into Kai's car and we headed for Cheryl's home.

Post-Comic Fiesta

I got energetic again from dinner and the coffee but I was still tired. While I was bathing, Kai drove back home. We all sat in Cheryl's room after bathing and we chatted. Jian Leng and Emma would occasionally tickle each other. While in the room, I told Cheryl about my plan of crossplaying, Jian Leng was interested too. We later went out and watched Salt. After the movie, we all went to sleep. Salt is not bad, I just don't like the ending which tells me that the chase will keep repeating itself over and over again, Russian spy after Russian spy.

The next morning, Jian Leng, Emma and I lazed around waiting for Cheryl to wake up. After she did, we had breakfast, luncheon meat, peas, cheese and bread. After that we discussed about cosplay plans. It was fun, I learned some new stuff and got interested in some new anime like Starry Sky.

I can't wait for next year. This year's Comic Fiesta was better than last year's, I bet next year's is gonna be a whole lot better!

What's the awesomeness level?! IT'S OVER 9000!!!

400

Yes, this is my 400th blog post every since I started blogging, minus a few of blog posts I deleted.

What's install for my number 400th blog post? Why am I like celebrating this?

No reason actually. I just coincidentally saw that this blog post will be my 400th one and I just came across something I'd like to share with whoever's reading this or whoever's following my blog. Did you know that 'spot' is one of the few anagrams for 'post'? I kept typing 'spot' in the previous 'post's so I just wanted to tell.

Okay. O2Mania. It's the free version of O2Jam that can be played offline. Yeah. I got it like a few months back. Recently (and today) I downloaded some songs to play on my O2Mania and I came across a legend. There are a lot of the similar song types you can find, especially on YouTube, and people download these songs for fun just to see Auto Play fail to get perfect scores. What am I talking about?

I'm talking about Xepher.

Xepher [SHD] is made such a way it's super hard, hense the [SHD] (Super Hard Special Edition). Normal levels for a hard song on O2Mania (and of course, O2Jam) would be around level 50. (Gaussian Blur is at level 50 and was my hardest song before I downloaded more mad leveled songs.) Before Xepher, I found a song titled Fantazindy. It's hard level is 28. Then came Fantazindy [SHD] at level 74. It is crazy. You can find a video on YouTube. Then came along 378 Fantazindy [SHD] at level 378. It's madness! I thought I'd never find anything worse but no. Here comes Xepher.

Xepher is at level 36. Harder than Fantazindy. Then they made a Xepher [SHD]. I don't know if there's any figures in between 36 and the number I'm about to announce but I got this hell of a monster. I don't know why someone made it, that person must have wanted to see Auto Play fail very much. If you compare 378 Fantazindy [SHD] to Xepher [SHD] without knowing Xepher [SHD]'s level, you maybe will think around 500? Haha. I did. Guess what, with a total of 3,3842 notes of hit in 2:57 minutes, the Xepher [SHD] I have here is level 1155. No kidding!

I told ya!

At the beginning of the song, impossible steps are already punched out and Auto Play starts to get Miss, Bad and Good. It's nice to see because Auto Play can get perfect score (all Cool) on all the songs you'd find in the O2Jam song pack. But it doesn't end there.

More and more impossible steps are shown. Auto Play would start to have more Miss than Cool and to me, I start to feel that I don't wanna play this song at all.

Why is Auto Play failing? If you look closely at the notes, those long lines are not for hold, they are to be pressed or rather, punched all the way. It's like machine gun! You can't punch machine gun on your keyboard! Even if you can, your keyboard keys won't sustain the force!

Eventually you'll find this kind of madness. Xepher [SHD] is beyond madness, it's like an abyss in an abyss in an abyss in an abyss in an abyss in an abyss in an abyss in an abyss in an abyss in an abyss in an abyss in an abyss in an abyss in an abyss in an abyss in an abyss in an abyss in an abyss in an abyss in an abyss in a black hole. It's impossible to play.

I played it five times to see the results Auto Play will get.

Round 1:- Cool: 5661, Good: 4357, Bad: 2551, Miss: 2,1111
Round 2:- Cool: 5663, Good: 4360, Bad: 2588, Miss: 2,1069
Round 3:- Cool: 5759, Good: 4438, Bad: 2348, Miss: 2,1138
Round 4:- Cool: 5613, Good: 4352, Bad: 2447, Miss: 2,1265
Round 5:- Cool: 5470, Good: 4416, Bad: 2442, Miss: 2,1349

They say nothing is impossible but this is. No human is able to get a score as close as Auto Play. Not even a world champion I bet.

More Than A Litre Of Tears

I just finished watching the JDrama, 1 Litre of Tears, a drama based on the novel of the same title. The story itself is a true story about Kitō Aya who suffered from spinocerebellar degeneration. An incurable disease that cruelly takes the daily life of an individual slowly. Aya suffered the disease from the age of 15 until her death at the age of 25. It's really touching. Everybody said that it's impossible to not cry when watching the drama and I support that statement. In all eleven episodes, I have at the least teared and the most cried for almost fifteen minutes straight. Watching a drama about a girl who's suffering an incurable disease struggling to cope, adapt and survive it was sad enough, what made it even more was that it is a true story about a real girl.

"Why did the disease choose me?
I cannot carry it, if it's just for the word 'fate'."
-Kitō Aya

While I still have it, I want to put my feelings down here because unlike Aya, I don't write a diary, my blog posses as my diary, therefore I will type.

After watching the whole drama, I have changed my view about life and the world. I don't want to see it as boring anymore. I want to go out even more. I want to learn more things. Go out and experience more things. Live life to it's fullest. I will do that. And I want to do it with my friends.

"Friends are cool. I want to be with them forever."
-Kitō Aya

Some of my feelings have been amplified,
feelings like, 'I'd rather be a happy man with no money, than a rich man with no happiness.',
feelings like, 'I'd rather be healthy than to be smart.',
feelings like, 'I'm happy that I'm still alive.'.
I now feel that I want to live on no mater what but it also makes me feel selfish, but it's a good feeling. Someone said that.

"I don't care if I'm stupid, I just want a healthy body."

"Just being alive is such a lovely and wonderful thing."
- Kitō Aya

When I woke up this morning, I teared because as long as I'm awake, I will remember the tearful moments from the drama. The story of Aya is such a strong and influential medium. I want to treasure all the moments I have with my friends and family. Like someone had said, 'You never know when you will die, it could be tomorrow, it could be next week. Treasure what you have now.'.

"I will live 'alone' carrying this heavy package called handicap."
-Kitō Aya

Some people may think I'm just being emotional but I understand how it feels like when you're in a handicapped situation. There are things you can't do, things you can't achieve. I was born different from normal children because of the deformity in my sternum. There was a time when I could not eat or drink anything cold because of this. Still, I lived a normal life. I guess I'm really lucky.

"Reality is too cruel, too brutal.
I don't even have the right to dream.
As I think about the future, the tears will come out again."
-Kitō Aya

I followed my dad around Shah Alam this morning and I was feeling under the weather, walking very slowly, carrying a depressed face.

I came to a thought and I felt really happy that I am still walking.
I might be thinking too much but I like it, I cannot imagine myself unable to walk, run or play sports, if I really can't do any of that, I would mentally break.
I cannot be as strong as Aya and smile everyday, encouraging herself that it's okay.

"It's okay if you fall.
You can just get up again.
Why don't you look up at the sky, while you are down there.
The blue sky spreads across above you.
Can you see it smiling at you?
You are alive."
- Kitō Aya

Watching 1 Litre of Tears really made me appreciate life more.
It had really gave me a lot of inspiration and courage.
I won't ever wish that I was in the past again.
I will continue to fight on and live my life to it's fullest.

"I really don't want to say things such as 'I want to
go back as how things were before'.
I recognize how I am right now,
and I will continue to live on.
Therefore I definitely won't run away.
That's what I'll do. Definitely, always."
-Kitō Aya

I have been thinking and I came to a conclusion that I want to help the disabled more than ever but I'm not doctor material nor I'm in medical school. What I can do for the future with what I'm learning is to promote awareness in everyone else through art.

Today my sister was saying that she wants to quit scouts next year. It got me even more angry when she said that the only thing that makes her want to quit was that she had to take tests and memorize things. What's so hard about memorizing things? I know I don't have a good memory myself but why can't she do her best? I scolded her about not doing things right and that she will regret for the rest of her life but am I in the right place to tell her that? I, myself have not lived my life to the fullest. I can't go out when I want to because of transportation issues. Still, my sister's attitude for giving up cannot be overlooked. I want her to watch 1 Litre of Tears but what's the point? She won't be paying attention to the show anyway. She's such an idiot.

"People shouldn't dwell on the past.
It's enough to try your best in all that you're doing now."
-Kitō Aya

I'm starting to dislike the word 'goodbye'. Why say 'goodbye' when you know that you'll be seeing the person you're parting with again? Even if you won't be seeing this someone for a long time, saying 'see you' is a lot better because I feel that it gives the feeling that you will meet again. 'Goodbye' is like a eternal farewell. I don't like it.

I'm proceeding to read the translations for the original novel, 1 Litre of Tears some nice people shared on the internet. The novel contains the contents of the diary Kitō Aya wrote.

"I write because writing is evidence that I am still alive."
-Kitō Aya

I Don't Know Why I Try So Hard...

...but yeah, I got a new score of 24.8 meters.

Run, Human, Run

What do you get when you cross flimsy limbs and a track team runner? QWOP.

What the heck is QWOP? No, it's not Quick Water Our Plants or Quit Wasting Organic Poo nor Quinn's Wonderland Of Pantyhose.

QWOP is this running stimulation game that uses the four keyboard keys, Q, W, O and P to make the avatar run by controlling the thighs and the calves. Simple isn't it? That's what you would think but hell no, it's hard. Personally I can't even make the avatar run like a normal human being.

Even so, I manage to get a score of 22.8m and the lowest being -2m. All the flailing and leg bending, ouch! Yeah. At times when the avatar falls, his legs bend in awkward positions, it's painful to look but funny at the same time. Imagine your leg spinning in a 360 degree turn upwards, like you don't have a knee and it bends upwards. Ouch.

Well if you're up for it here's the link: http://foddy.net/Athletics.html

Showing real courage, you ran 0.8 meters. Everyone is a winner.
What the hell...

Birds On Two Wheels

Today seven of nine Birds went to Botanical Gardens located at Putrajaya. Laura could not go because she was feeling under the weather and Nick had props to finish before Comic Fiesta arrives. In the morning, Wee and Ann Nee drove down to 1Utama to pick me up because I could not get a transport to Sunway Pyramid. Thanks guys for the hassle.

We got to Sunway Pyramid and met up with Chia, Mal, Wilson and Kai at McDonald's for breakfast, only Kai, Wee and I bought KFC for breakfast. Haha. After breakfast, we headed to Giant to buy food for our picnic. After that, we divided ourselves into two groups and one went to Wee's car and the other went to Kai's car. Mal, Wilson and I went to Kai's while Ann Nee and Chia went to Wee's. Then Kai lead the way to Botanic Gardens using Mal's map that she print screened, pasted together and transferred to her PSP.

It did not take us long to get to Botanical Gardens (there was some where during the trip we lost Wee and we kinda panicked) and we were lucky to not get lost like we usually do when going out for our Bird activities. Well, Kai made a wrong turn when he misunderstood Wilson and we ended up in a tiny dead end just by the road. What kind of turning was that?! It was some tiny portion of road that was meant for cars to take a break or something? Well it was really funny. Anyway, we got there in one piece. Yay! I was so excited, I was actually gonna get to ride a tandem bike! A two seater bike! We went up to the office and paid for our rent and then we grabbed our bikes and took off into the horizon.

Okay, not the horizon but we were going uphill. Wee and I got onto the tandem first and we kinda struggled a bit in the beginning because it was kinda hard to synchronise our footwork. We got the hang if it soon and we begun pedaling uphill. At a stop, I got off and "hijacked" Kai's bike and so Kai got onto the tandem and cycled with Wee. We cycled until we got to the peak of the hill and we took a break. Everyone was kinda tired from cycling uphill. For me, I got kinda knee cramps because it has been years (or was it months..?) since I cycled on a bicycle. Well the view was spectacular and the wind was making everything better. We soon went down lower to this picnic spot and we had our lunch. I brought the instant noodles I bought the from the last night market outing with the Birds and hot water. Yay. This was the first time I ate the new Pringles flavor, soft shell crab. It was funny, I felt like I was eating soft shell crab but in chip form. I can't imagine the taste of that blueberry something flavor. Eww.

After lunch, we continued to cycle down. Wilson and I were the first to reach the bottom but Wilson fell off his bike and he got a big graze on his elbow. Apparently the bicycle stand on his bike popped out and made his bike stop suddenly and thus he fell, thanks to laws of physics (thanks why I don't really like reality, it's all about physics).

We took Wilson back to the place where we rented the bicycles and the nice guy who works with the bicycles gave us some first aid stuff to use. I helped Wilson wash his wound and then put on some dressing using the knowledge I learned from Triplex. I wasn't really good with first aid but I was kinda proud I manage to put what I learned to good use.

Wilson's injury did not stop the fun, we continued to head out to cycle more. Unfortunately people started falling too. Kai fell while bringing the tandem down a steep slope, luckily he wasn't injured and Mal also fell on the same slope. She was not hurt too but she tore the knee part of her jeans. Poor Mal. Well I got onto the tandem with Kai this time and we cycled around to look around pretty much the whole park. Sorta. We got to this place where you can go into the lake in the middle of the park. We hanged there for a moment and I skipped some stones. After that we cycled some more and then we put the bicycles back and left for Alamanda.

While in Kai's car, Mal, Kai and Wilson planned Wee's surprise because today's his birthday. Earlier Wee was emoing because he felt that he was not as excited as he used on his birthday. Well, after we got to Alamanda, Mal, Kai and Chia left to buy Wee's cake using MPH bookstore as an excuse to leave. I helped Wilson buy some first aid stuff to replace the one I did for him at Watson. After that, the both of us followed Wee and Ann Nee to decide where to eat. We finally came to the food court as a decision and we "feasted" there. After finishing our food, we chatted a while and as Wee dozed off while sitting, we took out the cake (two slices, we were low on budget) and we sang the birthday song, surprising Wee. He was happy but too tired to show his excitement on full scale.

After that, he headed to MPH bookstore (for real) and checked out some books. I found this biography about Google. My God, what is the world becoming to. Well, Ann Nee was reading this Ripley's Believe It Or Not book and I learned that there was this guy who has a flat head because the top of his skull came off after he healed from getting a lightning strike. Eww. There was a picture too. Then there were these bunch of animals that had pairs of stuff like a cat with two faces, an elephant with two trunks, a goat with two heads, a bird with two heads, the list goes on. After that, we all headed home. I fell asleep in Kai's car and woke up later after he dropped Mal at her home, he proceeded to drop Wilson and me at Sunway Pyramid. After that my dad picked me up and I got home.

This was the first time I got really tired from an activity with the birds. Ann Nee said something about these lying down bicycles. I think it's the recumbent bicycles. Gosh! I wanna try those out!

Blood Stained, That's Just How He Is

I have finally found my next cosplay target: Kumagawa Misogi

Again it's a character who has stained his hands with blood. So far I've only cosplayed three different characters, Maebara Keiichi, Sawada Tsunayoshi and Tomodachi. Well, I can't say Tsuna has killed anyone but he did get lots of cuts and blood loss. Tomodachi did not kill anyone with his bare hands but he did kill using different methods. Keiichi is the only one to have killed someone with his bare hands, with a baseball bat that is. Now for Misogi, he did kill people but he brought them back to life. Is it still killing? Yeah, and not to forget he kill people using giant screws.

So yeah, what do I need for Misogi? I don't think I need a wig unless my hair is too short. I would need that black Japanese highschool uniform. And I need to make giant screws. Yeah. Pretty much it. Simple. Misogi is my plan for next year so I should be able to get everything by then. Ha. That's about it I guess.

[I am not evil.]
