Sing K

Last Friday, Wee, Ann Nee, Kai, Wilson, Cheryl, Victor, Chia and I met at college to see if any of us got OTP (Option To Progress) and we found that no one in our class got OTP. What awesomeness! It seems like we were the only class in our batch to have no students getting OTP but that also means we either pass or fail.

After that, we got into Wee and Kai's car and we headed for Neway. We were gonna karaoke! In Wee's car were Ann Nee, Victor, Wilson and Cheryl. In Kai's car were Chia and I. Kai did not know the directions so we followed Wee. When we hit the highway, we lost sight of Wee's car so I suggested that we go up the highway but I was wrong. We had to make a U-turn somewhere far away and there, we got back to Sunway again but this time, Chia lead Kai to the wrong road and we were on another highway in the opposite direction from just now. Hahaha. The lost adventure we had was so funny. Kai and Chia was saying how much they wanted to get back at me because I was making a lot of lame jokes on the way. When we finally found our way back, we met up with Mal and Yi-Vonne there. The price was cheap, RM15 each for karaoke, food and drink.

When we went in, the first thing Kai and Chia did was tickle me and I'm not sure who but that person was scratching me instead of tickling. Ouchies. After we ordered our food and drinks, the singing begun. Yi-Vonne was a pro with the microphone. I was nervous because I rarely held a microphone to sing and I couldn't control my voice and I sounded horrible. Hahaha. Victor left after the first session because he also has his other friends to hang out with at Sunway Pyramid.

We extended the time to Happy Hour but little did we know that Happy Hour was not a happy hour for us. After we called for the bill, the Happy Hour was much more expensive than the session we had before it. Wow! Apparently the tidbits were compulsory and they go by number of people. It was suppose to be plates of nuts but because we did not want nuts, they gave us drinks instead. We got ourselves the most expensive cold drinks on Earth! RM11 for a can of 7Up. Ridiculous. That's Neway's new way to earn more money. Even the worker who served us said, 'This is Neway, hahaha, luckily you did not order mineral water, it's RM10, hahaha.'
