The Last But Not The Last

I was invited to the last troop meeting of our troop for the year 2009.

Making it brief and short, we gathered at school at 7.30. Well, "we", are Maverick, Haziq, Jo Yee, Chin Tak (apparently he stayed over night at Maverick's) and I. Seems like everybody was late for meeting. Slowly the others came and then Mr. Dawson zoomed into school and after awhile, the opening ceremony started. By the way, Yee Ying drove to school! Not fair! I wanna get my drivers licence too!

Well, before the jamuan, the juniors did their logbooks and stuff. Well, we seniors, Jason, Yi Ling, Abigail, Wei Ming, Yu Beng, Chia Kuui and I can do anything we want so Chiaks went to help the "babies" start their fire. Wei Ming and Yi Ling started studying for trails. Abby, Jace and I just sat down and chit-chat random stuff and Yubs walked around looking for something to do. Haha. Yee Ying? She had lessons with Mr. Dawson and Wai Sin was there with them too.

After a long time of doing random stuff, talking about YouTube, randoming, bla bla bla. Mr. Dawson had the juniors to do a Survivor style voting thing to vote for the "Best Scout", "Worst Scout" and "The Scout I Look Up To" after that, the real thing starts. We had pasta, lots of drinks, fruits, egg tarts, sponge cake and Yee Ying went out to buy cake (forgot what it was...). Then we dig in!

After Jo Yee's pasta, Jason, Hans Leong and I decided to compete with each other seeing who can stuff the most grapes in our mouths. I win with 26 in my mouth, Jason second with 24 and Hans lost with 16. Thanks to Yee Ying, Jace and I choked on our grapes and Jace squirted juice everywhere while I suffered trying to prevent any juice getting out of my mouth. Yee Ying told us a joke, forgot what it was but we had to laugh.

After that we played a game where the loser have to eat food or stuff the whole food in his/her mouth. SKIPZ------------------------------------

We cleaned up after the game and then we had closing ceremony. Mr. Dawson gave badges to "Best Scout", "Worst Scout" and "The Scout I Look Up To". Well, somehow I got "The Scout I Look Up To" award. I was confused and blur at the same time so I screwed up when receiving the award from Mr. Dawson. Jo Yee got the "Best Scout" and I don't remember who got the "Worst Scout". After the end of the ceremony, we rushed to the Merdeka Structure the juniors built the past few weeks and snapped some pictures. Well, I'm lazy to upload the pictures here but the pictures and in my Facebook account. Yeah. So here's an end to my scouting life in 157th Petaling. Darn I'll miss all the good times there.

Experience The Touch

I got to try out the new iPhone 3G S at the Maxis centre at TTDI.
It was cool. I got to look at my blog using it and that's when I notice that Waifu Battaru!! only had 2 polls. I feel like having one but the price is out of my world and looking at the way my sister handles the iPhone 3G, I feel kinda worried. Anyway, I hope for a touchscreen monitor. Haha!

Waifu Battaru!!

I got this chart from the Anime Motivational Poster (AMP) thread in Crunchyroll that got shut down and thought it might be fun to do this among my friends who are into anime.

Tell me who you want in the battle and I'll upload the image into the chart. Hurry or you won't be able to see the anime girl you want!

Enjoy and remember to visit here often to see the results.

Let's fighting!

Birth Of An Amazing Craze

Yahoo! (not the search engine...)

I finally made my second homemade puzzle!

It's no other than a Sudoku Cube or know to some, Sudokube.

All I used was this lousy Sudoku Cube (that had it's numbers placed all wrongly) I bought from some cheap shop and label stickers that my sister uses to write her name on it and sticking it on her books.

So, it's picture time~

Before

After
So, after making the Sudoku Cube, I started messing it up and tried to solve it. Boy! It was harder than I thought! All the sides are white! Eeeek!!

Also, I don't really like numbers so I keep getting confused with the numbers but still, I manage to solve the cube twice. I'm sure Sue won't have a problem with this puzzle since she manage to solve my 5x5x5 without learning on how to solve it.

Not only I made the Sudoku Cube with that black 3x3x3, I also made something special. It's so special, many people will fall down like how cartoon characters fall down after hearing something lame. (Reminds me of the movie Chinese Odyssey 2 where Tong Sam Zhong said, "Xiu sam ah! Lok dai yu ah! Fai chui di sau sam ah!" when Si Mm Hong was coming to the rescue and the sky was flashing.)

Here it is! The special thing!

One Night Above The Clouds

My family and I went to Genting Highlands because my dad had a two nights stay for free but we only went for a nights stay because my sister had school on Saturday.

We did not do much up there, just walking around and window shopping in the indoor theme park after dunking our stuff into our hotel room and watching Crayon Shin Chan and Doraemon. My parents took us to this Asia walk (or something like that) where they display and sell things that are made in that Asian country. There was China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Korea, etc. including Middle East. The Korean store was very Korean because when we got there, there was a costumer speaking in Korean to the girl who was in charge of the store. While the Japanese store was very not Japanese. The store keepers were speaking in Malay and there was English songs playing. Noooo...

After that we stopped by at Ripley's Believe It Or Not. We did not go in because it was already kinda late (around 9.15) but we got to see some interesting stuff played on the small television outside behind the cashier. There was the guy who can turn his head 180° and look at his back! There was also the rubber man who can twist his arms and legs around. Then there was the guy who can smoke through his eye and a guy who can pull a wheelbarrow with a lady on it with his eyes. Cool. There was also dinosaur eyes, the Berlin Wall, some undead car (?), and a wax figure of the fattest lady on Earth outside. We then had dinner and then went back to our hotel room and watched TV.

The next day we came back to KL after watching a movie on Vision Four.

Mist outside the building.

A nice view of the sea of clouds in a distance.

Sleep To Panda Yawns

Once the school bell rang and we got ready to go to the biology lab, some prefects came and told us to go down to the assembly grounds, orders from Pn. Er. I guessed what it's about already, history. Damn.

All the Form 5 classes were emptied out and gathered at the assembly grounds. Then, we took our attendance and walked to KBU which is just across the road from our school. As we were going in, we say BU(2) walking to KBU too! And I spotted KY right in front, "leading" the Form 5s. As expected of real life nerds.

Inside, we got to the multipurpose hall and took our seats. A really small number of students were already inside. Josh, Ken, Xin, Yubs, Marcus and I sat on the same row together while Jak had to sit in front of us with Eugene.

There were a few schools here at KBU, SMKBU, SMKBU(2), SMKBU(3), SMKDU, SMK Tropicana, SMK Kelana Jaya and 2 other schools, one all boys and one all girls. I saw William but no Benjamin. KenK, Andrew and Jason were easily spotted because of their easy-to-spot appearance. I saw ZW, a standard six classmate and a standard four classmate who turned out to the the "freaking tall guy with his butt at my face" guy Xin told me about. Boy is he still the same as ever, super tall.

Turned out my school principle (known as The Panda in among some of us) gathered these students and give a talk on history for our SPM. What the heck! She didn't have to call us! My class have already the notes she gave and she had repeated the same thing over again. Also, she embarrassed our school name as principle by answering her hand phone during the talk and forgetting what she was saying after each calls.

We almost spent the whole day at KBU and went back to school around the second last period. Honestly, I find the talk a place to sleep and I caught a few dozes during her boring talk which I've heard before. Mind you, even Pn. Tan said it's not the time for talks, it's the time to do actual work! But who am I to do actual history work. Haha.

Roller Coaster Day

Omg.
Today sucks and rocks at different times.

First of all, only 11 people came to class. Whoopee~ And no lessons for the whole time until recess.
Second, stupid rehearsal made me feel sick and tired.
Third, we went to check out teeth. I played around with the wheelchair and had some fun. We measured our height (I grew taller~). The weighting machine was kaput.
Fourth, I was so sick I had to sleep in class. Luckily teacher wasn't teaching.
Fifth, I continued to feel sick after waking up. Sleep sickness, like sea sickness I didn't feel good through the BM and math. Again, no lessons during math.
Sixth, I started to get pissed off after school and went to McDonald's with Josh, Ya-ya and Marcus. I got better having lunch.
Seventh, went back to school for Japanese and found out that teacher bought us pizza for the last class of the year. Haih, if I knew this I wouldn't have wasted my money at McDonald's.
Eighth, I ate pizza while sensei asked me about what I want to do after SPM. After my answer, he decided to give me some tips and tell us some of his experience in Japan.
Ninth, I was so motivated to be going to Japan I can't wait! This really made my day.
Tenth, I went home and took a nap.
Eleventh, Bad idea! I woke up feeling sick! Noo....
Twelfth, Went through tuition with a sad face. Huh...
Thirteenth, after tuition I felt better, what made me jump with joy was my new MP3 player! Woots! Thanks mom!

Quarantined. Again.

Not just me this time, the whole class.

It's not that serious actually. We just need not to go to school until Monday.

This morning after PJK, our class teacher, Ms. Yeow came in to tell us that we have to be quarantined. Our classmate, JM was confirmed H1N1 positive. Whoa! After she left, we did not think of anything and played around since our BM teacher was not here and then after the bell rang, we decided to go home when recess arrives. Now, here I am, at home, before school ends. Muahahaha!!

I'm still going out to tuition and stuff but to be on the safer side, I've to wear a mask.

Is this "quarantine" a good thing or a bad thing? Hmm...

"The Early Bug Catches The Bird" ~The Ken

Cross line.

Have you every experienced it before?

It's something that happens when your phone is sorta kaput.

The school public phone has got a problem with it. Sometimes when you call somebody, the receiver can't hear you, or after dialling, the beeping sound before you dial is still beeping, or after dialing, no sound, just silence. Well, I tried to call my dad on Tuesday to pick me up from school because I found out that we did not have Japanese class on that day, Ken was with me when it happened.

I dialed my dad's number and no answer. So I push the redial button, no sound. Again, the beeping sound went on. I casually push the redial button again and then I heard a female voice speaking. I did not realise anything until a second voice spoke.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I heard them talking about a birthday present for somebody in Mandarin. Whoa! I slammed the phone down. I thought I had hacked into some people's conversation on the phone! I gave up trying to call my dad and went to Centre Point with Ken.

Is It Finally That?

My mom asked what I want to be and I answered with what I really want to be, a voice actor (seiyū; anime voice actor). She was upset. What!!?? Why??!! She had to rant about how bad being a voice actor is. So? What if my pay is 3,000 yen? I want to be a seiyū!

Then I had the biggest surprise. My mom told me to do animation. Huh? That was my ambition when I was younger. To do anime. Should I say "Wow"? She went on saying that if I drew manga I would also make better money. WHAT??!! Mangaka?! That really put me to some thinking.

It did not take long. Nihon Saru told me that he's going to Japan to study culinary arts. I decided to do animation and go to Japan with him. We actually had already planned to go there together because he was in Japan for a few years and I need somebody to help me there. You won't wanna go overseas alone right?

Now all I need are good results for my SPM so that I can go Japan. I'm still not gonna let go of my dream to be a seiyū. Maybe while I'm an animator I can get a chance to voice act too! Hahaha. It's all part of my plan... Just gotta put it to work.

Wow.

That is the number of motivational posters I have saved and made all together.

Seeing it on an organized scale,
-Saved MOTs: 2545 (7 are gif MOTs)
-Made MOTs: 92

Yes! Eight more to go and I will have a hundred MOTs!

Still, I'm having trouble with some RAWs...

Quarantined

One word says it all. I have fever, sore throat, cough and runny nose, the symptoms for any flu including H1N1. Now I'm quarantined at home with nothing much to do. Haih... I notice that I had all the symptoms on Monday early morning around 3a.m. when I woke up feeling hot and cold at the same time (along with a stomachache which sent me to the toilet to shit). I told my dad about it when we all (dad, sisters and I) woke up and got ready for school and he said the answer that both my parents will say to what ever problem I have, "It's because you use the computer.". Hah! Even if I break my leg they'll also blame it on the computer. My dad picked me up from school after recess because my BM teacher which is also my school's assistant principle told me to go home after noticing I didn't look well. I actually was half hearted to call my dad because I've never called my parents to take me home before school ends and I've never skipped school even though I'm sick before. Anyway, my dad took me to the clinic behind our house and the doctor told us that I certainly had caught a flu but it's not confirmed that I have H1N1 or not but I still have to be quarantined for a week until Sunday. When I got home I took the medicine the doctor gave and went to sleep. I woke up later in the evening after sleeping for seven hours. My mom, as usual, don't take the sickness seriously said that I should be fine by Friday. Oh, did I mention? If I got any sickness, my mom doesn't care as she thinks it's not something to be worried about and still sends me to school which is why I don't skip school even if it's on Saturday. Hope I'm not H1N1 positive so that I can still live on and enjoy the boredom of life. Hahaha.
