Visit to The Lion City (Day 3 & 4)

We went to the Sembawang beach. While the girls played, my cousin told me some stuff about him in the Boys Brigade and cleaning the beach we were at. After that, I hit the sand and decided to do make something but I did not know what to build as building a sand castle would be impossible for me. My cousin did not want to join us so he took pictures instead.

That's Johor at the horizon and if you can see it, there's a patrol boat in the sea.

I spent 2 hours digging not knowing what to dig but for what I knew, I was digging a huge hole in the beach. It started with a small hole which shaped like a cave if looked at from the inside but the surrounding sand kept collapsing so the hole got bigger and bigger. Soon, I have dug quite a large hole and by the large hole was a huge pile of sand. I had nothing better to do so I made something that I would wanna make again...

So here it is! My cousin took a break from taking pictures so you can't see the process of the huge hole but here is what I made at the end.

As you can see, the hole I made became a cavern and I used some to the sand to make a volcano in it, so basicly I made a volcano in a cavern. Man, I'm a genius! When I make another story, I can use this as a place! Woot! Woot!
Camera's eye view of the inside of the cavern.
I used two cups my cousins brought to make a castle-like watchacallit. Now it looks like a castle made in a mountain standing next to a cavern that has a volcano in it.
Dorothy asked me to make a connecting river from my cavern to her's. Whatever. I just did it for fun because I got bored after my creation.
Hahaha. I tried to make a turtle but guess I suck at making sculptures.
My sisters found some fish in the sea and fished them out. They were tossed back into the sea later.

We had dinner at Tony Romas near some popular places (according to my cousin) like the "Chopsticks" and the "Durian" which was suppose to shaped like a microphone. I had my enjoyment at the restaurant devouring ribs after ribs. I also had a steak and a large serving of potatoes. We used our hands to enjoy our ribs and the people sitting near us was looking at us as they used their fork and knifes. I could see in their eyes that they wanted to used their hands as well but they were dressed in suits and looked very smart. Hahaha.

After the scrumptious dinner of ribs, we headed to the Merlion to see it up close. There were loads of balloons in the lake coloured red and white. My uncle told me that they were for the new year celebration. The picture was not very as the lighting sucked.

The next day, we packed our bags and got ready to go back to Malaysia. My uncle had to go to work and my parents went to see some guy who does some kind of massage with my aunt so we kids, stayed at home. We played computer games until my parents got home. Then we said our goodbyes and left Singapore. We got lost trying to get to the Causeway because they closed some roads for trucks and lorries. After we got out, we "flew" at high speed, acceding the speed limit at 115 to 120 km/hr. We did not head back home but we went to Xin's house because I was supposed to attend his Christmas/New Year party that he set up for me. Story continues next post.
