Time? Space? Can we travel?

I was watching this National Geographic DVD show during physics class and there was a small topic about time and space relation relating to light being effected by gravity (E = mc2) when I remembered my theories of time and space travel which I had titled, "Theories of Time Travel and Teleportation" in my mind. Here are my theories:

Time-Space Travel

As life goes on, time and space moves forward. Time never comes back and we can never go back in time, but space can come back and we can go back in space. This is probably the main root of the theory of time and space travel. But here's the breakthrough, no matter what, time goes forward, so we learn that time is like a DC current but never ending and space is like a AC current, it can always come back. Both time and space work in parallel and time is the big wheel that is super glued to be moving forward always and space is a loose small wheel that moves as it please but time keeps going on.

When someone says, "I wanna travel through time.", that person can already do so just by walking from one point to another.

Why?
Because when you say "travel through time" it basically means going from one point of time to another.

Confused?
Here's an example,
Let's say it is now 10 o'clock, 35 minutes and 5 seconds. You want to travel through time and so you sit down and look at the time again. Now it's 10 o'clock, 35 minutes and 20 seconds. You have already traveled through time because 15 seconds have already passed. Therefore, you have traveled through time.

When you walk from one place to another, you not just only traveled through time, you also have traveled through space. This is obviously obvious as space is seen as physical and you know that you have moved from one place to another. If you still don't get it, let's say you move from point A to point B and the distance from point A to point B is 1 meter, you have traveled through space at a total distance of 1 meter!

So the conclusion here is,
when you move from one place to another, you basically have traveled through time and space but only in one direction.

Ok, that sounded kinda lame. So here's the main point, how do you travel through time without moving space or travel through space without moving time? Read on.

Time Travel

Albert Einstein said that time is like a stream, flowing in one direction. If something would happen to the direction of flow, the space changes, thus we get the theory that time and space are parallel. No matter what happens, time and space will not separate, unless we find a way to make it do so.

To travel to the future or the past, we need to make space stay still while we move through time. How? I have no idea. But that is my theory for traveling through time. Once you can freeze space and move through time, you can only go in one direction just like the river but remember, as stated before, time can never come back but space can, so, with space stuck in it's place like glue, we can move back in time without the disturbance of space going backwards.

Space Travel

"Space is like a thin sheet of paper. Place 2 dots on each horizontal end of the paper and you want to join them up, so you draw a line from one dot to the other and with this we can say that the dot moved from this point to the other. But what if we don't want to do so? What if we want to move from this point to the other in a faster way without moving? Simple, you just fold the paper so that the 2 dots 'join' together. To do so, we need to travel through a wormhole."

The quote above inspired me into thing about all this traveling things when I was young but back then I lack knowledge therefore could not think of realistic theories. The quote was taken from a long story comic of the Doraemon series. Wormholes are capable of traveling through time as well therefore the idea was not so good. Take example of the novel/movie, Planet of Apes.

From the folding paper theory, I can conclude that by folding space, we can travel through space without taking much of time but what we want is teleportation, so the idea had to be looked at again.

To teleport, we need to make time stay still so that when we move through space, time does not move. How do make time stay still? I also have no idea. Once time is still, nothing moves. This theory is believed by many but others also believe that when time stops, things still work as usual. In movies and films, when a character stops time, everything except the user can't move, this theory is mainly used from the the first believe of stopping time.

Frames

Time and space frames are also popular in many theories.

"Time are like picture frames lined up closely. With the frames connected, we move through time in a line. To travel through time, you simply jump out of the time frame you are currently in and go into another time frame. Easy isn't it?"

That quote is pretty much like what Asahina Mikuru told Kyon from the Suzumiya Haruhi novels. If time were like frames, it is a lot more easier to understand compared to the reality situation. Imagine a dark space with millions and billions and trillions of photo frames lined up closely together in a line with very little space between them. Don't go off topic and think that if one frame is pushed, the other frames will fall thus time will be distorted of the world will end with that happening but think that with that little gaps in between the frames, we can squeeze through them and reach this dark space and make way into other time frames!

Now, image that glued together in the time frames are space frames. Ooh!! Now the hard part comes. How do we make teleportation possible here?! Simple. Throw away the idea of time frames and space frames glued together, instead, think that time and space frames are lined side by side or are together but different layers. If it is lined in different layers, think about Adobe Photoshop Smart. How do you photoshop? There are things called layers right? And you can do what ever you want with the layers. This is the computer-photo version of the time-space continuum or spacetime. Once we know how to control the time-space continuum, we can travel through time and space in any way we want to! One nice example is Doraemon's time machine that can take you through time and places.

Other theories

Einstein also stated that if time and space change, matter also change. So if we travel through time or space in great depths, we might transform into strange beings or sort.
To prove Einstein's theory, I can say that our body experiences changes every minute because we respirate, our blood stream moves, our body fixes itself if damaged and many many more things our body do while we are in motion. This is evidence we "change" as time and space pass us by.

Ford Perfect from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy stated that time is an illusion. We believe that time exists so that we can move on in life.
The theory is possible but won't that just be destroying all this theories and all the scientists hard work and equations won't work anymore!

PS: The quotes I used are "printed" from memory. It isn't exactly accurate from the source.
