Children VS Mutants

ひぐらしのなく頃に VS エルフェンリート

After completely calming down from yan mode, I reviewed my previous post and I wanna add this in, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni is awesome in it's own way.

While Elfen Lied has amazing amounts of clear scene gore, I find that the characters are not as colorful as those in HNNKN. Higurashi no Naku Koro ni characters have colorful expressions and personalities but there isn't all the gore in it as it is either shadowed by dark colors or obstacles to hide the scene.

While Lucy's (the killer in Eflen Lied) killing methods are deemed awesome because she has telekinesis and can kill humans in any way she wants but the feeling of natural kill is not there, HNNKN in the other hand have humans killed the human way, either smashed by a bat or cut with knifes, it gives the natural kill feeling.

To come to a conclusion, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni is awesome in it's storyline and characters while Elfen Lied is awesome in it's gore and *cough*nudity*cough*. Still, I haven't watch Elfen Lied yet, so I gotta download it (but it's such a pain to wait).

Edit: Gah... animeEDEN doesn't have Elfen Lied... Guess it was too much for them.
